Heres the thing about payday loans and everything thats their major client. The Gov't looks at them as a loan sharking legal business, but doesn't back them up and it will not hit your credit.

This is a bill collector and they said from the next state over from were I am an close to me (Ohio).  Check area code and is from Los Angelas, California and I do owe a payday advance and said that I have to pay them and that I can not pay were I got the payday advance business.  They want my checking acount number and is only way they take payment that I owe.  I am out of job now and will go to the advance place soon as I  am able to pay the advace place. I am having a very hard time making ends meet at this time,  my son pass away recently and the funeral exspence was devastating to me and my family.  Will never go to a payday advance place again they give me no chance even when death is in family even tho is very close family like my young son.  So the heck with the bill collector they don't give the damn about anything.  I am A honest person,  will pay my debt soon as I can, so don't bug me and let my wife and I,  grieve a little bit,  get my head on my shoulder and get back on my feet. So don't think the collection people gonna starve and if they do will send a food package to help them.

Caller ID shows Halstead.  Never anyone on the line, much less a robo recording, but have received
several irritating calls.

I heard about everyone's troubles.  Thought I'd look into things for everyone.  Seems Henry Schultz likes to answer the phone.  Sounds black or latino with that characteristic getto voice of a drug user who can't make it dealing.  This guy wants to steel your identies, perhaps he found some of your mail?

Corvallis girl... when was your mail last stolen?  When was your car last broken into?  Did you sell your car without cleaning it first?  This is how these loosers get your old Advance America receipts.  Fact is, Oregon outlawed cash advance services years ago and they are no longer able to operate in Oregon due to the limitation on maximum loan APR % that may be charged.  30% isn't enough for a payday loan company to operate on in Oregon.  Also Advance America was a publicly traded company in the US, until a Mexican Finance company bought them out six months ago (google them).  Nearest Advance America location to Corvallis, is in Washington State.

Besides, AA would have called and hounded you for weeks for the money and just presented your checks to your bank if you hadn't paid.  If they are demanding money from you for an AA account, you know it's a fraud.

What this is is someone or one's are trying to claim that I and seems to be many of you as well owe money
for a pay day loan. I delt with this back in Janurary. It's a  payday loan company called Advanced America payday loans. They are trying to claim that I took a loan from them in 07' for a sum of $562.70 and that they deposited the money in my checking account. Well, infact one I became real good friends with the manager and assistant manager of the payday loan place but I don't think they were called Advanced America. I can't remember what they were called here in Corvallis, Oregon. Anyway's the call's started in Jan and I blew up.. I knew for one they never deposited anything in my checking account. I took I think 3 maybe 4 pay day loans and they ALWAYS gave you cash. You always had to write a post dated check to them for the day you got paid and if you weren't in the next day or call them to let them know when you could make it in they'd cash that check. I only had them cash 2  and paid in cash for the others. But I always got reciepts. Well the one in Jan was trying to get me to settle for $383.80 and popped off saying that it was on my credit report. I argured with the guy calling him a lier for the fact my husband and I just had our credit reports pulld due to us buying a home.. So I knew right off the bat the guy was lieing...  So my broker told me what to do and so I called the Fedural Trade Commison, all 3 credit bureau's and the attorney generals office and filed complaints with each one. My bank has a monitoring system on my account for fraud. The Fedural Trade Commison was great and also added stuff to my report. They told me if it was to continue to call them back and they will do an investigation on this. Many people have filed reports on this cause these pay day loans are no longer in business here in Oregon and I'm not sure where else there not and they said that once they all filed bankruptcy that about 6 months to a year later these places started popping up and calling people that had loans with pay's day loans and are trying to commite fraud. They will tell you it will be on your credit report and that they will send the cops after you and anything else that they can scare you with.. By law if you owe a company or anyone as a matter of fact they HAVE TO SEND YOU A LETTER WITH THERE BUSINESS NAME ON THE HEADER thorough the mail, before they can start calling you...
Here is the number for the Fedural Trade Commision for file a complaint with ( 1-877-438-4338 ) It's the Identity Fraud Hot Line.. If they keep calling keep track of the number they're calling from the day it was and time... Then call the Fedural Trade Commision and report it... Make sure you call your bank and explain to them what is going on and they will help you by putting a fraud alert on your accounts... Scam artists are getting wiser by doing crap like this...

This number is listed as Halsted. They also use a 385-202-2686 number.  I googled the name and numbers.  They seem to be a financial collection company. Salt Lake City, Utah is one location of theirs.  They started calling at 8 pm at night...today got a call about 1:15.  It is a robo call. So I just hang up because I don't owe anything.

Someone keeps calling me from this # and I cannot get through to anyone when I pick up.

I CALLED THE NUMBER BACK, SPOKE TO SOME LADY WHO ONLY SAID HER NAME.

Just got the call, saying they are a lawyers office. Doubt it, played dumb, they asked for me and my maiden name.  Told them this is a cell, you got the wrong number.  Think it could be with HSBC bank.

This guy said I owed money on a MasterCard. The only mastercard I have is through my bank. The number comes up Halsted on caller ID and it also comes up under a 608 area code.

They are a sleazy debt collector. They are calling my number looking for a "Debra Woods".

This number has called me numerous times, they have a recording asking for unknown person and saying if you are not unknown name hang up, followed those instructions and hung up and now I'm getting calls with no one speaking just listening while I say hello and wait for a response, but no one ever responds they hang up.......but they keep calling!! Now this is what I believe we all should do start calling them annonymously.....too and continously everyday as you think of their past harrassing
tactic; maybe this will "help" them see the error of their ways!

They keep calling me & won't stop.

I BLOCKED this caller a while back but they continue to call.  Their call is disconnected by my software in 5 seconds, but they just re-call again.  I just went through 14 call attempts 5 seconds apart!  Their computer is persistent, but is mine. I use VoIP.  I don't know who they are. Do you?

Mi nombre es Hugo Moreno, pero no soy la persona que ellos buscan en mi telefono por un adeudo de tarjeta de crédito Master Card. Me preocupa robo de identidad. Tengo varias tarjetas, la primera desde 1983 y dos desde 1984, pero ninguna de ellas es Master Card. La primera es Visa y las otra dos Amex ( Gold and Platinum). Me molestan mucho y me tratan como si yo fuera un delincuente.

Robo call. Has called me multiple times saying that "this message is solely intended for Sarah Zurns." Of course, I hang up but they still call back. I've probably gotten a call from this number at least 10 times.

This caller has called me numerous times and when I do answer the phone no one seems to be on the other end or at least does not choose to speak.
