I found this call on my caller ID.  I called back and was informed it was a non working number.  I got online and see that a few people have received the same call with the same response.  Says it's from AEGIS PEOPLE.  Glad I'm wise to these guys.  I'm very careful  what I reply to. However judging how long they have been doing this, I'm surprised they are still around.

Call center asking about a recent experience getting a defective AT&T business telephone replaced under warranty.  The rep had 3 questions about the process of replacement.

Called twice so far today, claiming there is a problem with my order from Columbia Sportswear. I have not placed an order with Columbia Sportswear.

HI I have a problem...i got charged for a plane ticket i am not booked for. when i call them they called me back from this number and refuse to connect me to a supervisor to handle my situation. Anyone know what i should do. They are refusing to take responsibility for this and i even had my bank on the phone dealing with them and no luck. anyone have any tips?

I called the number back and gt a recorded message saying the number you called is a non working number.

very notorious.. dangerous.. be alarmed.. I got call from this number numerous times they dont leave a mesgs.. when we finally picked up 'they' said they are from chase.. who knows? called up Chase verified about these calls Chase acknowledged that their calls generate system generated phone numbers.. also acknowledged the complaint reg.    not leaving messages..    per protocol if it is a legitimate call and not picked up one has to leave voice mesg... and not leaving mesgs is a bad practise.. Chase cust service took this feedback..

I live in Beijing, and got a call on my cell from this people. Shows up as Los Angeles, CA. Did not recognize the number so did not answer... Someone mentioned Network Solutions. Maybe it was them/on their behalf as I have been emailing back and forth with NS... yet, a phone call I do not recognize the caller goes unanswered, period!

This is a credit card purchase validation company.  Online stores are adding an extra level of security to large online purchases and the call was to verify that I had infact made the purchase.  Had I not picked up the phone, my purchase would not have gone through.  I might be worth answering.

This number was used by a technician who was helping me trouble shoot my new land line phone system.

Hang up call.  Twice, no message.  5 seconds long

This morning, 4th of July 2012, I called Network Solutions so I can recover my email.
After waiting on the call being transferred here and there and there elsehwere,
someone came on the line and told me he is not the subject matter expect,
so he would transfer me. So again, wait on the call, your expected time
is less than 10 minutes(!), listen to garbage, finally someone named
Zion came on the line, he told me to call the new carrier, not them,
while the email I wanted to recover was from when I had service with them.

Zion kept singing the same song, sorry sir, we apologize, I think I heard that
over 5 dozen times, but it cannot be done, you do not have an account with us.

I told him I was LOGGED IN right that very moment on the service, but his song
kept on the chorus, we cannot find your email, you do not have an account,
I asked him to log in and check it for himself, he was from another world.

45 minutes into the calls with them, I had nothing to show but frustration
and disbelief this is the America of the 21st century. After his 100th
"sorry sir, we apologize, blah blah blah", I asked for a supervisor,
the waiting-line chorus part of the song replayed again and again,
and finally someone named LEM came along, only to start singing the same song
from teh beginning. Sorry sir, but this is only for viewing,
you cannot recover your email, you cannot download your email,
we cannot find your account, we cannot find your login id, and all along
I was logged on to my account at webmail.networksolutionsemail.com,
actually I logged out and logged back in again as inactivity time
had kicked in while staying on the call with networksolutions rocket scientists.

So, Lem said he would consult with a a technician and ... call me in an hour.
So I gave him my cell phone, as I thought we take the little one and head to the pool.

But once I hang up from that set of horrible calls, I opened not one but 3 different
email clients, Outlook, thunderbird and Eudora, and after I entered the right incoming
server pointing to webmail.networksolutionsemail.com and userid and password, I was able
to download ALL my emails saved on their server. Excellent.

Well, guess who called an hour later? LEM from Network Solutions called me
on my cell to tell me that he had consulted their resident email expert and
"sir, we answered this before, this is a viewing thing only,
you cannot download these emails, our subject matter expert verified so"

These are the people that are running critical sections of our telecommunications
industry. I asked for the simplest of operations, any freshman student of mine
could have done it in seconds.

I told him thanks for their negativity, for their incompetence,
for their disservice not just their company but our nation.

I told him I already did it and it was very easy to do and I had
downloaded not just one but 3 different email clients, and of course...
he remained speechless. Not "oh sorry sir, we'll let our email person
and our support staff know it can be done, thats it is possible", nothing.

My son was already in his swimsuit, so I dismissed Network Solutions,
every call to them, and I mean every call to them has been a torture.

Its a little after 5:00PM now, someone from 213-873-5000 called me, but I missed it.
I tried calling back, its a non-working number. So I came here and found
its a Network Solutions number, so I now I am pissed.

HOW dare you, "Network Probl..." sorry, I mean to say "Solutions" folks call me
without giving me a chance to call you?

WHO do people you think you are? How dare you disrespect customers and treat them so badly?
What gives you the right to call me after I have dismissed you and closed your case?
And why from a non-working number?

I ask you in public to close case 1-606x0401x  ( digit x is the same in both
places, an even digit, I only substituted as this is a public forum,
but you know how I am, ask Zion and Lem).

My request is backed by Federal Directive, which in simple English means that
YOU MUST COMPLY.

They called my number today about 4 times in a row. When I answered they asked me "Does your Daddy work hard.". I yelled at the and hung up. I figured it was a crank call.

This woman has been calling my phone using non working numbers but I know who she is what do I do

3 calls within 2 min. Refuse to answer. They left no message?? Blocked their number

"Aegis People" (213-873-5000) called over and over...at least 5 times in a row! They left no message, so apparently it was not an important call.

I was called 3 times by this company within 10 minutes. Caller ID showed Aegis People. I didn't answer the phone.

I got called 4 times in a row today. I found these calls after I got home. I had left my cell phone at home when I left for work. The number is of course a non-working number. No message left. They called 4 times inside of 2-3 minutes. I have no idea of the comapny's name.

Got three calls today 3/5/2012, didn't leave message, called back and message said it's not a working number.

I received a call from this number today Feb, 2, 2012 @ 12:43 pm. But I was a way from my cell phone. So I was not able to answer. Anyway, It's a compnay verifying/doing a Background Screening Analyst.

THIS IS A COMPANY THAT IS HIRED BY OTHER COMPANYS TO DO TELEMAKETING FOR THEM. THAT IS WHY THERE ARE A LOT OF REPORTS OF ALL THESE DIFFERENT COMPANYS CALLING FROM THIS SAME NUMBER. THIS COMPANY IS JUST A GROUP OF PEOPLE THAT CALL THEN HOOK YOU AND THE TRANSFER YOU TO THE CLIENT AT THE TIME THAT IS PAYING THEM TO GET AHOLD OF YOU. THIS SAVES THE COMPANY MONEY AND MANPOWER.

Claimed to be representing a Doctor. It looks like its just a front number for something fishy since many posts state they were calling by a different name for a different purpose.

Network Solutions, as mentioned above, at least in my case. They left a message that I was actually able to understand on the 3rd listening - I'm glad I didn't answer.

Its an Internet travel agency. Octopus travel calling from LA. they are pretty persistent, they called 3 times in 20 minutes.

Thank you for your response to that Chris. I finished dealing with Network Solutions in Feb. 2011. We closed our business and didn't want the service anymore. I asked to download my files from the site and did such. Not needing them until now I didn't bother checking the folders. When I did last night (Sept.25) I found the folders to be totally empty. They now say they have deleted them but we all know that things that are deleted aren't necessary gone. "im so sorry", "we apologize" and yadda, yadda, was all I got from them. Then asking to have a supervisor call me back I left a landline number....but no they insist on phoning my cell phone so I can rack up more charges. Who is on the other end of these phones. They get paid to write down info and don't write it down. I gave my home number to the woman twice and made her repeat it back to me.  Yes....they have gotten worse every year.  Thanks for your input.  Deb Vancouver Island, B.C.
