I am warning all of you to not fall prey to this ridiculous scam. So hateful and meaningless to go through the hearts of loved ones to get what they want. I truly pray the police find these scammers and lock them up.  I am so thankful i realized what was happening before I lost my money.

It's an advance fee scam. To get the money (which doesn't exist) they want you to wire transfer (Western Union, etc.) a "fee" for one reason, or another, to them. I'm sure you can guess the rest.

This person claims to be an agent from Washington DC that deals with some sort of benefit check you are owed. I called his bluff to early I guess cause I'm not sure what scam he is trying to run. I think the first he sent was something about paying the taxes on the money before they send your check. He compromised a family Facebook account and sent the message that way first, I responded thinking it was my family member asking what they were talking about. I told my family member to call me and left my number, then this guy started texting me personally.Anyway, he too stupid to even sound professional enough to be an agent but is pissing me off and I am now going to report him cause he won't leave me alone
