This had been my phone number for ten years... until early September when I was forced to change it.

For weeks, I received at least 10-20 calls a day (at ALL hours... 4 AM phone calls are NOT fun!) with the person on the other end telling me they had just received a call from my number saying they were some sort of bank.

Somehow, whoever this scammer is used my phone number to call people with automated messages (24 hours a day) trying to get their financial information or something. I have no idea how they pulled it off. I figured it would stop, but when it didn't stop after two weeks, I was forced to change my number. Apparently, people are STILL receiving calls from this number!!!

THIS IS A SCAM!!! DO NOT GIVE ANY OF YOUR INFORMATION!!! (Also, please don't call the number back. I'm sure it's somebody else's number now and they aren't involved with the scam and likely don't want a dozen calls a day!)

I apologize if you received a call from my number, especially if it was late at night! I have no clue how they pulled off stealing my phone number.

called me at 2:01 am MDT with a recording saying they were some sort of financial organization and my debit card had been deactivated. "To reactivate press 1."  I hung up.

I had a missed call from this number. I tried to call it back and it said it was a non working number. People and their decptiveness,  I think its hilarious. Let me find out who it is.  Please
