I received a call from "Lori" (has a major accent) from "Highland Resources".  When she identified the company, I told her I am on the Do Not Call List.  She must have hung up - all quiet at the other end.

I just got a call from this number at 7:30 AM!!! I KNOW that is a violation! Even collection agency's know they CAN NOT call prior to 8am!! They need to shut this crap down!!

Just received two phone calls in a row from this company.   On the first call I stated I was on the National Do No Call registry and asked her how she got this number,  she told me it was a referral from a friend or relative.   I told her I wasn't buying it and hung up.  Five minutes later the same person called back and I told her I was not interested, do not call here again and I will report you for harassment.  She asked me how I could report her if I did not know her personality.  Stated I did not need to know her personality, I had her phone number.  Ha ha

Called saying they were from a major airline in Denver. Caller ID says Dallas. I've asked them to take me off of their list three times now

Missed the call. Returned it and was immediately directed to a recorded device saying "extension 322 is not available". Figured it was some scam. I too am registered on the Do Not Call list.

You know they say no one knows how ignorant you are until you open your mouth.  These Scam artist have been doing this for years and none of the previous 5 idiot presidents have done anything about it!

The spiel: They're calling from United Airlines which is opening up a new reservation center in Denver. I've been invited to an open house and for my time I'd be compensated with two round-trip tickets anywhere in the US and a 3-day, 2-night stay valid for one year.
my thought ... United's Hub is Denver - why would they open a new reservation center?
I asked when this big open house was taking place and was told this Thurs/Friday. I stated my family already had plans for both evenings. She questioned our weekend availability. We really are booked up with the school year coming to a close. She told me they would contact me again if anything else opened up.

Please shut this scam down. I'm sick of these low life, no brained, con artists having access to my cell phone number so they can call and try to get personal info from me.

It is a fishing scam.

Criminal scammers.  This time they claimed that my "partner" and I were special guests to a grand opening of a Walmart in Austin TX located on "Research Boulevard."  Mr. "Bob Lopez" had about the worst English you could imagine and still call it English.

After Senor Lopez tried a few lame attempts to answer my questions, requests, and objections with LIES, I told them to put me on their do-not-call list and hung up on them.  They've called before at least once.  If they call again I'll see about filing state charges for phone harassment.

FWIW, this was to my cel number that's been on both the Federal and Texas state do-not-call lists since the inception of each -- going on nearly two decades now.

Thanks to everyone who posted, I will not be returning this call.  I'm glad I missed it.  These people need to get a new hobby.

At 10:37 AM a gentleman caller with good English and an Asian accent said the Southwest (or east) Airlines was opening a branch office in a nearby city and we were picked to receive roundtrip tickets to anywhere in the U.S. good for one year. I told him we were elderly and didn't travel much anymore and he backed off. My thoughts we that free airline tickets could be a scam. I didn't ask what company the caller represented.

I meant to say that I asked if her paycheck came directly from Southwest Airlines, meaning that she has a direct employee, and that point she hung up on me.

Total scam.  When I asked callet if she is a direct employee  of Southwest Airlines, and explained that I knew that her paycheck comes directly from Southwest Airlines, she hung up.

I just received the same call only the caller claimed that they had opened a new business in Oldsmar, FL.  When I proceeded to explain why I wasn't interested, he abruptly hung up.

         When a proper name wasn't in the caller ID, I knew this wasn't legit.  I decided to play along.  A lady with very poor English said they were from "Major Airline Center" and asked my name. I said " WHO ARE YOU"  Then the lady with very poor English said "MAJOR AIRLINE CENTER" - I said "WHO ?!  I've never heard of you before!  I've never done business with you before !. She hung up on me.   :)
        These people are scum.  You just have to waste there time.    

Call from this number from man with thick foreign accent, said he was calling from Home Depot Direct. Told me, "don't worry this is not a sales call", and I told him it sure sounded like one.  No, I was a lucky winner for the Home Depot Grand Opening Celebration, and I quickly terminated the call.

Just got a call from this number and I could not understand what the woman was saying. She had very thick accent. I hung up once she asked me if I was married or had a boyfriend.

Got call... only answered cause I know people from 214 Dalls area code... Indian accent said something about Home Depot and I hung up.  I can't recall but I think caller did use my first name.  Curious because I've purchased from home depot online just once a way while back.

They called and told me I would get a free tablet or 2 round trip airline tickets for attending a Home Depot grand opening. The Indian guy on the phone stressed that it was not a sales call, so I assume it's an identity theft thing where they're trying to get your personal info.

Just recieved a call from 214-269-4343 explaining that I would recieve two round trip tickets on Southwest Airlines. Caller wanted me to attend a grand opening of a new reservation center in Clearwater Florida where I live. This is a scam do not fall for it. Southwest flys into Tampa Florida not Clearwater and does not hvae a reservation center in the area.

Got a call from this number a few minutes ago. I didn't answer the call.No Voicemail was left so I figured it was a scam.

I won't answer any calls from out of the area as a practice. If the call is important enough they will presumably leave a message.

Check through these calls- look at the dates-these scumbags put a fire under their business of scamming people since this idiot president took office because they, as well as others around the world, know he is not a man of honesty and integrity and he and his minions will do nothing to these folks.

Being disabled, this call has really upset me..... when they called, I had to get to the phone, had left it out of reach..... by the time I got to the phone, the jerks hung up.... no message.... I am on the do not call list, apparently, GOP has managed to give them immunity to any punishment.... making the list crap and bull ...

I tried 7 times to return call..... rang a huge number of times .... then comes on, "no one is answering  your call, and is disconnecting" ..... THEY are COWARDS praying on people .... wish I could make them jump through hoops like I do to stop such bull..... tired of getting up to a jack*** that can't listen ..... especially when you are on the list.... .

Got call from this number and person with east Indian accent told me I'd won a free laptop from Home Depot or a free trip. I answered in spanish that I didn't understand.  They hung up on Me lol! Helps to speak some spanish and being able to mimic the accent. I called Home Depot and they said it was a scam and that they had no such offers going out. So learn a few catch phrases in Spanish like "hello: (bueno), and "I don't understand" ( no entiendo ) and They hang up! Maybe they'll even put you on a do not call list! Hope this helps.
