Hi - to the people that report call times, etc, here, just want to let you know that posting info here won't stop it. This is simply an information page for people to share what info they have about particular phone numbers. Since this number appears to belong to a sales/potential scam or fraud outfit, you should REPORT this number to the Federal Trade Commission on their website: https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx

1) Register ALL your phone numbers with the Do Not Call registry
2) If at all possible, tell the caller to stop calling you and fillow that demand to cease and desist in writing (again, if at all possible). Even if they don't stay on the line long enough or you don't have their company info, go directly to 3) and...
3) Report ALL unwanted harassing calls, solicitations &/or debt collection calls to the National Do Not Call Registry Complaint dept online at https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx - all they need is your number, the number that called you and the date and time of the call.
4) Rest assured that if a number is reported enough times, it does get investigated and the FTC and the DOJ do follow up with you - there are a dozen scams and fraud attempts on me and the DOJ was able to prosecute every single one because of my reports.

They have been calling me for over a year. "Congratulations, etc. " What a marketing strategy! Attempt to make money by harassing people! I have screamed at the robot making the call knowing it will do no good, but making me feel better. And what I scream is not pretty, but they must love it, they keep calling back. The company responsible for this harassment has got to be made up of morons. The Do Not Call List does not work any longer.

It's real simple people..........if you don't recognize the number, let 'em leave a message.  If they don't leave a message, forget 'em.  If they DO leave a message, determine the validity of the call before reacting to the message.  Otherwise, forget about it.  Just block the number and move on...................

And speaking of posters here being dense... NO, Savannah is not "exactly right" - or even close... 1) it's NOT "any" biz you've done business with or have visited in person or online (that's ridiculous, good grief) - you have to actually DO business with them such as buy something, sign up to receive their info; 2) it must be an EXISTING relationship for business callers, NOT "previous" relationships; 3) you left off surveys (legitimate surveys, NOT surveys then an offer to buy - which are not allowed), etc., etc., etc.
Some rights... for current biz accounts you CAN ask they not call and they must honor it (except account-related calls like payment due, etc.). Same with political places and charities - yes, they're exempt UNLESS you ask them to stop calling - then they must stop calling you.  
There are MANY instances where companies have been fined and had lawsuits over the DNC.
I wish some of the finger pointers here would take even ONE MINUTE to check the darn facts. Geesh.

Their robo must be dialing through Tennessee yesterday and today. Called my land line yesterday and cell today. I never answer, I just block them.

Spammers - On the DNC List, and they still call. It's an annoying telemarketing call about winning a cruise that we never entered. They try and get you to verify your info. DO NOT give it out. Recommend Blocking these C*** Weasels.

On the DNC List, and this call is a Spammer. Went to someone spewing something about how lucky you are to win their cruise and they wanted personal details about you and your credit card. Recommend disregarding these spammers.

received call from (214) 316-6941 on 3/20/14 afternoon. No message let. Phone number is owned by "Cellco"  in partnership with Verizon. I consider it to be a harassing call from a scammer.

I don't know what you folks are arguing about, DNC does not work anyway,  either cell or landlines. !
The only way the harrassment is  going to stop is  when the telephone companies CUT OFF TELEPHONE CRIMINALS  phone service.

If the companies receive, say...100 complaints about a number (not the spoofed phone number, but the REAL number they are calling from) they would disconnect service.  It's up to the phone companies, not the ineffective government

Caller-ID stated "Wireless Caller" and this number... no message left.

This is the first time I got a call from this #.  I never answer my land phone any more.  I let all phone calls go to my answering machine.  So,, when I hear who called I would call them back.
Your right DNC list does not work with these people.   I am considering a block.
My phone rings all hours of the day.  These people are relentless.   I have decided not to give these people any more of my time.  

Just another group of scamming call center flunkies who would make the world a better place if they would just die.  NEVER call an unknown number back people!  And turn off your answering machine.  Answering via voice or answering machine simply lets the A-holes know their robo-dialer has found an active number, and they'll sell your phone number to other scammers and you'll get even more telemarketing calls.

Your comment is incorrect "do not call list does not apply to cell phones".  It does  apply to cell phones and land line phones,  It still does not stop the idiots from calling unless you block them though
