These thieves are still harassing me with computer calls every day sometimes several a day. When I answer there is never a message. I've been told that their computer makes six calls at the same time but only the first answered gets a message. They are calling to set up appointments to pick up your donated clothing with they money made in sales going to vets - no way they keep all the money. They have been harassing me for years. I even had my phone number changes but within six months they were harrassing me again every day.  Our congress should make laws to put such thieves in prison. But out govt has more important things to do like starting wars around the world, The big war starter Ex-President George Bush opened his library in Dallas, Texas yesterday. Too bad the truth will not be told there of all our finest young men and women who he sent to give their lives in Bush's "no-win wars".

Call last night from-  'PVET CLTH DON'.  Did not answer.

The number comes across my caller id as "JCS Casa View I". They call alot (as other posters attest to) and yes, there is NEVER anyone on the line nor is there a VM left.

I've blocked and on DNC list. They STILL get through. And why no one on other end??

call came to a DNC listed # - I do not answer #'s not familiar with - went to VM - no message - it seems that the "owner" of this and a few other gray-market charity knock-offs is David W Makatura, age 63 from Dallas, TX  - lets all give him a call @ 1am?

They've called at least 5 times in the past 2 days, never once saying anything. Even if this company is legit they have no right to call this many times.

Please tell me how to block the rip-off donation calls I get regularly from thieves David W. Mc Katura and partner thief  Mike Mc Leen DBA JCS Casa View in Gatland, Texas. My phone service is from AT&T.

I keep getting calls from the same number several times a week. However, I blocked their number. So when they call the next time, my phone will not ring......problem solved.

As is mentioned above this is a rip-off operation with a Caller ID read-out as JCS Casa View and a front location in Garland, Texas run by two thieves  David W. McKaturs and Mike McLeen seeking donations for the Paralyze Veterans of America who receive little or nothing. This information came from Dun & Bradstreet.

They have been harassing me for several years regularly. I had my phone number changed but after about six months their harassing calls appeared again in my Caller I D. Even though I only answer calls which I can identify in my Caller I D their calls are a nuisance as I am a seventy-seven year old handicapped man living alone.

I'm wondering where they get my phone number. Who is the guilty party providing thieves such information?

This is a scam operation pretending to benefit veterans.  They supposedly operate a non profit store.  The way this place is operated I think it is definitely fraudulant.

I get these calls off & on. I'll answer and give them my ear splitting hockey whistle. Calls stop for 30-45 days. Employee turn over rate? Then it starts again. So I answer, whistle and take pleasure in their dis comfort. Telemarketing scumbags.

IRS Pub 78 does not list them as a Charitable organization so donations are not tax deductible.  This does not mean they are unreputable.

PS There is no call type listed for this type of company.

This is just another  donation rip-off  claiming they are collecting to help the Paralyzed Veterans of America. I only answer those calls I can identify in my Caller ID. Dun & Bradstreet states the following. The two in charge are David W. Mc Katura and Mike Mc Leen. Their call read-out shows JCS Casa View which is a front thrift shop in the Garland, Texas area. You can know for sure the Paralyze Veterans of America get from very little to nothing.  These guys are the scum of the earth.

They call and never leave a msg. Same people as the other post above with the phone number in it. Veterans and their organizations do not do nor tolerate this behavior on their behalf, so they are probably a scam. They are also listed as a for profit company on their web listing.

I called them back and the automated answering program says that they are a clothing pickup service.  However, they do not make clear in the message whether the items are for charity or for re-sale.

Thanks for the post. I am sick of their calls and do not understand why they can "fly under the radar" I will answer their call next time and address the issue with them.

214-324-502 belongs to JCS CASA VIEW which is a thrift store that claims to make donations to the Paralyzed Veterans of America from the proceeds of goods that are donated to them. I used to work for this company as a truck helper to pickup items that are donated. While I never did do anything to verify that they actually do make donations per their claims, I do know that they don't pay their employees very much so their overhead should be minimal. I'm sure that if anybody wants to verify if this company is legitimate or not, they can contact the Paralyzed Veterans of America organization and ask them. Their website is:
