these people have no moral my son pass (dronwn) in August of last year his car been missing since october. I started getting harrashed about his car told me i was stealing and that my son is turning over in his grave because i stole from... I dont have his car andi dont have my son.... Im a business owner and my family my employees had been dealing with the drama.  .. my God help their souls ?

Keeps calling and hanging up.  This is a collection company out of Dallas, Tx. by the name of Mathews and Michaels.  I have a 730 credit score and nothing that I owe that is late.

Pretending to be a police officer and saying I would get locked up by the sheriffs department for a pay day loan. Said his name was Investigator Harris.   His phone number is 678-974-1710

I discovered that Ms. Harris had previously lied to me about being from 'National Insurance Company' and wanting information regarding an insurance claim about a relative.   I answered the phone this time, and told her not to call again -- she knows it is not my dept -- and that she had lied to me in a previous call.  She then argued the point and said she IS from 'National Insurance Company' and that if I didn't talk to her she'd send someone to my house; that I am 'aiding and abetting' so I am guilty also.   I again told her not to call again, and hung up while she was still yelling into the phone.

I will pursue this matter with the FTC and our Attorney General's Office.   I am still gathering information about the Federal Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.   Hopefully a Matthews & Michaels' representative won't call my home again.  I do not agree with their unscrupulous practices.

Call from Cameron, identified himself with Matthews and Michaels. Calling about a claim ...so assumming it is a collection agency. We don't have anything which would have a claim on, or owe anything.  Number to return call was.

"Investigator" Heather Harris called me and said they were hired to repossess a vehicle. I live 20 minutes from the bank and Michaels and Mattews is 5 hours from me AND the bank! Wow! This "investigator" whose job I assume means "to investigate" is asking me why they can't find the vehicle.....uh, I think it's your job to pick up the vehicle which has been sitting in my driveway for weeks!! They asked me to take it to the bank myself....I don't think so! She also threatened that I was Harboring and Hindering........whatever goofball, you are an idiot! They charge hundreds or thousands of dollars for their "services" but want me to do their job? If I hadn't lost my job I wouldn't be facing repossession....maybe I can be an Investigator for Michaels and Matthews...I think I could atleast find a car sitting in someone's driveway!

Raul is calling all of the time. Someone told me they call more often if you make them mad. I guess I made him made when I told him for the 7th time that the dude doesn't live here. He has called relatives and relatives of relatives!  He makes  threats like there being a  bench warrent. He even told my brother, father  and dude's mother that. Whatever. I know this is civil not criminal.

someone continues to call my number asking if I know a person named Michelle or Tonya. I told this gentleman not to call my number any further that I am registered on the do not call list. He harrassed me and I hung up on him.

got a call from these guys too. told them the guy doesn't live here anymore. said he didn't care he was going to keep calling until he gets some type of info. i think thats harassment and some actions should be taken. loosers

This raul has called my work and neighbors and is not legitimate.they have no license and are not accredited

Got a call from these guys today, same as above collection agency.  Didn't answer the phone after googling this. The number is 214-328-3059 instead of the one listed above.

He really tried to sound important but when I question him on what type of investigator he said a collections investigator.  What a joke!!! This guy is calling old coworkers and telling them my personal info!!

Got a call from these guys said they were the Texas Insurance Theft division on my exwifes car that she is supposed to be paying on and isnt told them to call her and they threatened legal action... i hung up  these guys are a joke

Received a call from Heather from Mathews and Michaels. They also called my wifes phone and left a message where she identified herself as "Investigator Harris". Said she wanted to confirm my Identity and when she had the wrong birthdate, I just told her that she had the wrong person and hung up. I don't think this place is a scam, I just think they have less than capable people working as "Investigators". Just don't volunteer any information when you are on the phone wih them and you should not have any problems. Just remember that their rudness comes from their frustrating life of living with a low IQ.

They are laughable.  Violated the FCDPA at least 6 different times in one phone call.  Called my relatives, told them they were investigators, etc...

I recommend anyone who gets contacted by these a$$clowns file a lawsuit against them...but first, get some good documentation.  I notified the caller that he was being recorded, he said he didn't care.  Kept talking and violating.  You should record them, too!  A digital recorder, plus a little microphone w/suction cup from Radio Shack for $7.95 works nicely.  You'll get static with a cordless phone, but my regular desk handset picks it up perfectly.

Got a call from this company today saying I had a Land Rover with expired tags and they haven't received my wire (money) and they were going to take whatever steps were necessary to collect. I called the number and said they had a wrong number. They tried to get my name, etc and I hung up. I just have a bad feeling about them...
