619 295 2201 When I entered this number into Google the result was Borders books & music in San Diego California.
214 363 1977 The result for this number was Borders books & mucic in Dallas Texas.
Upon call back to both the result was the same...number has been disconnected.

Calls me once a day now for several days. Weird that this phone # and another one - 619-295-2201 - are both calling me and both are former phone #s for Borders stores.

They must be using a robodialer that places several calls at a time, they pick up the first one that answers and drop all the rest.  Very annoying.  If you happen to get a live human, you can have some fun - see above.

Called 4 times in less than an hour and leaves no message

After many times answering calls from this number and finding the line

dead, I finally got a live human today.  My end of the conversation went

something like this:

Hello?

Hi Steve, I'm on another call.  Can I get your number and call you right

back?

I see.  Hang on, I'll dump the other call.

Ok Steve, what can I do for you?

Oh.  And who do you work for?

What is their address?

Phone number?

Supervisor name and phone number?

Are you the same guy who called me yesterday and when I picked it up there was dead air?

No?  How about last Monday?

The preceding Friday?

Thursday?

Wednesday, Tuesday, Monday?

The week before?

The week before that?

Can you see where I'm going with this, Steve?

Is that short for Steven?  With a "V" or "PH"?

Calls all day long. No message left. When answered, no one on line after 20 or 30 seconds.

How strange we are complaining regards the same #.

They keep saying I owe them money, but they will not tell me the name of the company or how I owe them money. I think its a scam to retreive money from people. Im thinking of calling the BBB

Received calls several times today. No message nor when answering the call do they speak. Have put a report into  authorities.

They called me three times, within 30 mins Today,  They may have called more than that. This line is a Magic jack. If I'm not online, the call will go to my email.  I think that the caller is one of those college people. That drive you crazy.

I rec'd 6 phone calls from this number today alone. I answered the last call, it was for a supposed request for education funding info as well. When I asked WHO they were trying to contact, the guy on the other end of the line would not give a name, and kept on reading his script. I asked three times who he was trying to contact and again no answer. I told him no info was requested and they need to remove my number, then the individual continued to read his script. I'm so fed up with these calls, today wasn't the first day I have gotten them, it's just the first time I picked up and there was someone on the other end of the line.

these calls are a pain in the butt....I suggest we tell our phone carriers to deal with this increasing problem or we will end service...... it takes a group effort to get results

I received a call from this number a few minutes ago. They said I had filled out an application for continuing my education on line. Interesting, since I did not apply so this service or any service of this kind. I did ask what web site referred them and he said that was a good question for the continuing education recruiter. SCAM! Were do they get this information from? Not to mention my phone number!

Rec'd call call 4/11/12 @11.16am.  I do not answer any more of these call which come with an area code removed from mine.
I tried to call back and can never get through.  
WHY CAN'T THE PHONE COMPANIES STOP THIS ANNOYANCE !!!!!!!!  Boy they sure take action if

Sick of getting calls from this number

I just got a call from this  number about 5 minutes ago and looked it up. It's from Borders Books & Music in Dallas, Texas. I thought they went out of business. And I never gave my number to them, considering I've never been to a Borders outside of Rogers, Arkansas. So if Borders went out of business and I've never been to one in Dallas, then how are they getting my number? Maybe they're buying numbers out from other companies. I'm on the do not call list, so if I report them will the calls stop?
