I have received many phone calls telling me I will be , for Christmas if I did not give them money. They told me they needed to read to me an affidavid and if I did not listen then proceeded to cal me names and cuss at me threaten me . When I told them to send me a certified letter to prove this they said they could not. I have reported this also to the FBI.. These people are a fraud and they have my social and my accounts they read them to me. I would not confirm them .  They said they were a law firm .

About a week ago, I received a phone call at work saying they were will a law firm, I thought it was a scam I told him it is illegal to call me on my cell phone and any correspondence needs to be by mail.. He hung up on me... Today I received a call on my son's cell phone stating the same thing, I told him I had already informed him any correspondence needed to be by mail and it is illegal for them to call my cell phone, he hung up, then called back moments later with some pretty graphic sexual and harrasiing remarks...

I just got a call from Walter and Jones  A**. A guy who says his name was Mark Smith, accused me of 3 accounts. I never heard such b** s***. There number that they used was 2146130845. I called back and ask for there web site. they remark that I was dumb, and stupied. People shouldnt play pranks like this. Its not funny.

Payday loan scam. Ignore the calls.

I got a call from a guy saying his name was Ricky Jones.He called my work and said it was very important that I call. He said that it was from a attorneys office. He also called my house and left a message that if I didn't return his call all  he could do is wish me good luck When I did return his call he proceded to tell me that I owed Ameircan cash $263.60 for a pay day loan that I never paid back. I told him I never got one, he put me on hold when he got back on he started to read 3 different charges against me. He was very hard to understand heavy Indian accent. He told me that I would be arrested at my job unless I went to a store by my house and call him so he could tell me what to do with the cash. I told him I didn't have that kind of money at time. He said good luck that they would be coming for me. I've been very scared and upset about till I read some of the comments. Thank you All

I am so sick of these people calling me with this bologna.  All you have to do is file a complaint with the FTC.  Every time they call from different numbers I file a complaint.  Don't call me threatening me about some money you never received from me.  If they are that bad off go get a real job because the police will be at their door picking them up.

they called me & said it was william conner , he said he was from a law firm that was being in a law suit & that was going to be arrested, so i cursed him out , told him was full of s@##$$%$# !!!! then hung up the phone.

I got a call from a William O'Connor stating he was from some law firm and I am being sued and I need $8,000 for court fees and he is going to make sure he makes my life a living hell!!! This was the voicemail the man a VERY strong Indian accent with the Irish name left me!! How stupid do these people think we are?!!! At least pick a name that your accent doesn't give away your scam!!! Don't fall for this crap...by Law no one should be contacting you by anything other than certified mail or personal service if your in fact being sued and as far as having any sort of arrest warrants...No One would be calling you to tell you there is a warrant for your arrest you would just be picked up by local law enforcement!!!!

I got the same message I never even took them on. They called my job and 2 of us picked up at the same time I stayed on the phone and listened and when they asked the Indian speaking to spell the name of the business we couldn't understand what he was saying she kept asking him what he said and he was getting upset he said his name is somebody Smith

Received a call from this number last week and someone with a heavy indian accent said they had 3 lawsuits against my name and social security number and were preparing an arrest warrant.. He called back later and i picked up and told him to knock off the scam calls and hung up..today, a week and a half later, he called back and started to leave the same message.. I picked up and told him to knock the crap off and what was this about.  He told me to watch my language and i told him basically to perform an unnatural act upon himself.. he said well prepare to be arrested on monday.   After i hung up on the jerk, he called back five straight times within a minute and hung right up.  I am going to report this jerk to the FCC for using telecommunication lines for fraud.

I got a call from this number today and a woman with a indian accent told me her name was
Cathrine Jones  she was calling me from Walter and Jones Legal Assoc in Dallas Texas.
Legal Case against  me in regards to a pay day loan from American Cash.
Could NOT tell me when I took this loan, or whom  the loan company was, just that American Cash owns 100's of online pay day companies. Says I will be arrested at work in 24 hours. That I will be tossed behind bars and that I will have to pay $8023 in legal fees. Asked if I had a lawyer.  
When I asked if the Legal company had a website she got very rude and angry and told me to give her 24 hours and I would be behind bars then hung up.
I tried to call the number back it rang then disconnected.
this woman knew my name, address, social, birth date and employer name as well as my bank info... ( scary)
I can not find any info on this supposed legal firm so I think its a scam.

The funniest part in my message is that he called himself John Smith.

Omg, they tried me as well. Da day b4 yesterday they left me a nasty message bout a past due payday loan 2 american cash im goin 2 jail, and ima loose my job. Talk 2 dem yesterday and same mess, i cussed him out. But was a lil scared cuz he knows my info. Wanted 2 go 2 the police in my state cuz, i just got a payday loan and is in good standing, i pays my stuff off.

I am a Criminal Justice grad with associates and Bach. I have never so sick to my stomach about a legal issue. My local sheriff deputies that deal with "Fraud cases" informed me that it was a scam and to ignore it. They even googled the number and name of the company and found all of you nice peoples "comments" about these scammers. now i can quit worrying about it. thanks for posting your comments to help out others.

Spoke with someone with an indian accent. He said that i was going to go to jail for 3 types of fruad of i didnt pay 710.21 today. i asked him to send me information because i had no idea what he was talking about, but he wouldnt. I told him i wasnt about to fork over money to him when i had no idea what he was talking about and untill he could send me information about it not to call back and hung up on him. he has now called back threatening to have me arresded unless i come up with the money. im so glad i googled this number.

This is a criminal extortion scam operating out of India. They are making the calls utilizing VOIP and the names of legitimate firms to make it appear the calls are originating from within the US. There is NO "company" or "debt" and you will NOT be arrested. They are harvesting and/or buying consumers' personal identifying information from unscrupulous websites like the one you may have filled out an application with, and you need to do whatever you can to protect yourself. This includes: Notifying the FTC: https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/, placing fraud alerts with all three credit bureaus, notifying your bank and employer and letting these criminals know you are aware they are attempting to extort money for a non-existent debt and have alerted the authorities.

Apparently at some time in the past year "we" (any of us who are receiving these calls) completed an application for a payday advance loan. The website was either hacked or phony to begin with and our personal data was sold to these crooks who run this scam. That's how they have your SS#, work phone, etc.

They called ne as.well and said I was going to jail in 30 days I asked him what my ssc number was and he.New it how did he get it

I received a call and they said i was going to be arrested if i did not send them money for a loan with American cash.  They had india accent and called me a fxxx whxxx.  They said they would keep calling my work number until i lost my job.

I just got a call from these stupid t**** heads. Saying if I didn't pay $197.91 then tomorrow I would get arrest at my job. I have never got a loan from "American cash", and now I have to pay a cancelation fee that I never got. My husband called the person back and went off on him and the person said he is going to charge us $2,000 for stating our opinion. If someone is suing you, your suppose to get a letter in the mail. I go to college for criminal justice, please let these people bring the police to my house. they would have another thing coming. I'll show them what suing people is about.

They called me and left a message saying good luck.  I called back asked him for my case number and that my Attorney wants my case #.  The man hung up on me.  So I called him back and said do not call my number anymore.  So he asked if I can hold like he was getting someone else.  I hung up and called back and the line was busy for awhile.  What business dies not have multiple line connections?!  I will be calling the FBI myself.

It is so easy to determine that it is a hoax:

Bill collectors have to send you the bill in a certified letter.
At least my state as specific protections against this kind of lender making collection difficult if not impossible to collect. You cannot prosecute someone who writes you a check as collatoral. ACH withdrawals are even more difficult to bring criminal charges against you.
If a company is not licensed, they cannot collect more than the principal (most people have paid this long before it gets to this kind of collection)
Debtors prison went out during and shortly after the Jackson administration.
There is always bankruptcy--how good can your credit be if you are seeking this kind of predatory loan.

I got a call from this weird talking dude stating that I will be arrested in a few days at my job cuz I got a payday loan and don't intend to pay for it I was like huh , dude I have been scammed so much ur scamming me now with a few more choice words and my bf was going to kick some butt  , they had my job info , email and dl #, scarey but I was panicing until I read this, so sad that a bunch of blank  wipen towelheads have nothing better to do!!!!!
