unwanted phone calls. I want 214-382-0785 to stop calling me

I received a call from 214.382.0785. The lady asked for me. I asked what I could do for her, she said that she was responding to a request from my company then messed up the name. When I ask whet this was in regards to she hung up. Anyone know whats up with this number?

Just got a call from this number.. A women  said hello and knew my name. When I asked her who is this?? She said Brandi for 1 on 1 or something like that. When I said I was at work and couldn't talk  SHE with a ghetto rude attitude said then why did you answer the phone?? I hung up and blocked the B

Just got a call from this number. some chick said they need more information from me about my "hair by hannah" company... Kay I'm 19 years old and I do hair for high school prom goers, etc for extra cash and have only  publicly advertised it on Instagram. I recently bought business cards but from a different website than she was requesting information for. CREEPER.

Um first off there is no official registry list for businesses. Secondly, if you do not want to receive future calls all you have to do is tell them to put you on their DNC call list.

Called my cell, comes up as Texas.  Left no message.  I don't know anyone in Texas.

This number called. I did not take the call. They left no voice mail. I called back and the operator guy said that this number is not in service. If they call again I will answer and tell them I am reporting them. I do not like scam phone calls.

Just called me,I did not answer and they never leave a message. I did not call them back because I know that it was a scam.

Please quit calling me!!!  This number calls 2-3 times a day.  

the company is real and the join screen is used by alot of businesses..they have real jobs so  you get alife

they call once a week for no reason. I am on the do not call list as well. they should lose their business license...if they have one.

Real companies don't have to telemarket, or lie to people on the phone. I am the owner and the webdesigner- so when you don't know who you are talking to or what you are talking about, well I don't think telling you to pound sand is unreasonable because you are wasting my time. A legitimate business only needs their reputation and legitimate (advertising/not cold calling) marketing practices should bring them customers without the non-sense. BTW- Although I am a business owner, the calls were made to my private line which is on the do not call list. And the law where I am, Canada, does not allow calls to folks who do not have an established business relationship, which we do not. Good thing the iPhone iOS now has call blocking feature. Just hit that and your call goes onto the abyss. Reported and hands washed clean.

Call from a Shanna at one on one.com or something like that. This number called the office today and said that the owner had inquired about changes to his current website. Yeah right. We have two that just got re-launched at the first of the year and we are very happy with both of those. Then she proceeds on to try to get me to go to the website that is mentioned in other comments. No thank you! I don't want you to have access to my computer. I asked her questions that she can't answer about us and she's asking about the owner and such. He's never in so I try to get a number for him to call her but she doesn't have a return number because she does the calls "through the web". I'm sorry but any reputable business will at least have a call back number that works. Too many red flags for me and she couldn't tell me how he inquired about their services to begin with or his name. No way was I giving her more info. All that came up on the caller id was Dallas TX and the number.

this female keeps calling and she is a complete idiot.  the female tries to play games to keep me on the phone.  I am reporting this scammer

Called our office today about 9 AM. Caller ID listed the number and the name "Roblez JR ". They failed to navigate our IVR and hung up.

These people call every day practically. I have asked them not to call and their answer is "WHo cares?  There is no do not call number for businesses and I get paid whether you buy or not."

They are calling to talk to the owner about the website we do not have and do not want. This is getting ridiculous. They also call from 803-392-1718.

Guy called and said he is from the worlds largest web hosting company.
I hung up.
He called back but I didn't answer.
Looks like they are phishing for credit card payments.
From reading this thread, I think they will tell you anything to get your information

I entertained their call since I'm looking for a new provider.
They made me go to a web conference and they should me what they have to offer.
The person proceeded to sign me up to 1and1.com's free trial and asked for my information.
I told her to give me a quote or tell me how much is the non-promotional cost of their services
and she keeps changing the subject.

I told her I pay only $9 a month for my website as opposed to their $20 a month. I thanked her
for her time then she hung up on me lol....

Now, the thing is to be careful if you ever experience web conferences, don't give them your
information. It may look high tech and all, but never give them anything... they might be on a
different website with a dummy 1and1.com sign up form ready to steal your information...

I played with fire that day... but I never gave them anything... and I became aware of new
identity theft schemes...

A lady first called with a CID of 800-335-0783 asked for the business owner and was trying to sell web site service. I told her I was not interested, but she wouldn't hear it and kept up until I finally hung up. She called back from 214-382-0785, and I told her "How dare" she call me back and she hung up. Then she called me right back, and this time I picked up and hung up.

Same thing happened to me. I said "the owner of WHAT?"

This same number 2143820785/ called me. I don't remember the guy I spoke to at first, but then he transfered the call to a guy named Byron--that's what he says. Then said he's called By, then 'B'. THen told me his wife is a web developer.  Basically, they were just trying to sell a 'free' trial of the website 1and1. I told him, I do not have a website and am not ready to get one as I do not have an idea as to what I want to sell.

I did go to join.me to see how it works, but I was not completely interested. Out of the blue, I'd hear someone else (on the phone) try to coach him as to what to say to me. DIdn't work. Then that guy took over the call, without announcing himself. I guess he thought I did not know. But I did.

All they kept doing is pressing the issue of 'try it for free for 30 days'. Then kept comparing how Godaddy is more expensive...yadda yadda. It was a big sales pitch. I wanted to see what it was all about. They will do a huge sales push to get your credit card info.

I asked that they remove my name from where ever they got it from. And to not call me again.   We'll see how well that works.

Yes there may be some rude people on the other end, but that doesn't mean that everyone that works for them are rude. I mean come on, how many people deal with happy people everywhere they buys things or go out to eat? The ones selling websites aren't calling about transactions with the bank. Another company that is actually scamming is probably doing that. Holier than thou attitude? Where do you people come up with this stuff...Everyone is too busy complaining and talking down on other people for what their job is instead of realized everything isn't much different from it. When you work at a retail store you try to up-sell clothing...that is scamming someone for their money. Same goes for any other thing.
