I received a call from Secure ID (214) 390-2941 today. Mark had a heavy accent and did the standard call center ploy of talking over me as I'm telling him that I'm not interested. He was still chattering away as I clicked the phone to hang up.

got a call from. said they were recommended by the fort Lauderdale police

called here earlier - caller ID reads "SECURE ID" - they made it to my answering machine but did not leave a message - must not have been real important. Now Blocked.

Second call from this "company" in two days, though from different numbers.  Caller named "Jolie" from Secure ID asked if I was in my 50s or 60s.  Allegedly marketing home security and/or ID theft security.  Don't know if this is a scam targeting senior citizens or if it is a legitimate business.  However, I would not buy any product or service from a company "Secure ID" that violates the law in its business practices.  Filed a (second) complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry.

214 area code is ft Lauderdale.  I told I was on the do not call registery too, and I that I wanted to be placed on their do not call list............and then I asked her if she understood what I was telling her...she told me NO

Yep. I've been receiving calls from the latest number (214-390-2941) several times within the last couple of weeks with Secure ID showing on the caller ID. I live just south of Dallas, Texas. In Googling the phone number, the location shows as being in Carrollton, Texas (near Dallas). I'm sure they're using a floating number as not to be located or identified. To be safe (safer), I called the number back on my cell phone. There is never a ring or an answer. These dark and shady bottom feeders need to be obliterated from the face of the earth!

This number calls daily as "secure ID".  I doubt it.

Got this call today from Secure ID.  Never heard of them and judging by the other posts, I figure them for a scam.

While 214 is a Dallas area code, there is really no guarantee they are really calling from Dallas.  Numbers can be easily spoofed, so the Caller ID read-out is not always an accurate indicator of who is calling or from where.

Simple solution: Don't ever answer the phone if the Caller ID is an unfamiliar name or number.  Sometimes we can't help ourselves, but resist the temptation.  The reason is sometimes these calls are just robo-blasts that call millions of random numbers, looking for an active line.  When/if you pick-up, your number is then listed as "live".  Those lists are subsequently sold to other scammers.

The # on my phone is 517-400-7008,they call allot and I never answer! I want them to stop calling me!!

I get these phone calls at least 3 times a week and noone is on the phone,I have told them several times to stop calling,but ti never happens!!

Received a phone call from this number (214) 390-2941 about 20 minutes ago.  Caller ID read "Secure ID."  I did not answer it. They did not leave a message.  They also called once last week with same results.

I keep getting calls from these scabs, even though I'm on the "do not call" list, so I figured out a way to make them not call back.  I went on youtube, and got a copy of the recording you get when a number is disconnected.  Worked like a charm!  They don't listen long enough to the recording, because at the end I say "leaveyour name and number", but they never listen all the way, because afterit says the number is disconnected, they hang up and mark it as not a good number and never cll back.

Caller claimed to be providing Identity Protection...said I qualified for FREE coverage and requested my information. I indicated I wanted to research it first and she said she would send a brochure but she needed my name and address. I advised that I would research her information using my own sources and asked her for her name and address....she hung up.
Clearly a scammer.

They call me everyday and don't speak. How can I stop them from calling me?

Woman claimed to be identity protection service. When I called the number back there was no answer. I've received 4 calls in 4 days.

Saw this number on the caller ID as 'ID Watch.' It only rang the once though and the line was busy when I tried to call it back.

Very polite and once they told me they were ID Watch, I pointed out that my number is on the National Do Not Call Registry.  He hung up immediately.

Claimed to be an identity protection service.  Told the gal she has a wrong number (did have my correct name), she hung up immediately.
