They are using a new number now....512-614-7992.  I am a Deputy and tried to speak with the subject but he refused to answer any question...Folks, DO NOT BE FOOLED by these type of tactics.  Call your service provider and have their number blocked.  Do not answer their messages.  There are many tactics you can use to reverse the table on them if you have time (be creative).

I WAS THREATING BY THIS GUY AS WELL. HE TOLD ME THAT THIS WOULD BE HIS LAST TIME CALLING ME HE IS GOING TO TURN MY NAME INTO THE LOCAL COURT HOUSE AND LOCAL POLICE DEPT. BECAUSE I DIDNT PAY THE MONEY

He is most probably calling from outside the country, and betting to find a weak soul on the phone, who'd give him any payment information over the phone. If that was a domestic call, he'd be breaking numerous laws in every state. The ambush, I fell for, was that he called me by my name immediately, although it only took me 5 seconds to get my bearings together. Therefore: Do not confirm anything over the phone ever, not even your name !, until you are sure, who you are dealing with. ---  I had alleged or real cops call me at my work place asking for somewhat confidential information, which they were in great hurry to obtain. Although they left traceable information with me, they let me off, when I advised they could subpoena the information. -- Do not confirm, deny or reveal anything ! Ever ! ...until you know for sure, who you are dealing with.

I knew this was a scam the minute I heard the voicemail. when I asked for an address and said I was contacting the police, the guy threatened to put a M16 to my head!! SCAMMERS and psychopaths. The number has been blocked

Wow, he's been a busy guy these past few days.  Just think of all the people he's called who haven't posted here.  Our call was a lawsuit was going to be filed against us for social security fraud, which was left on the answering machine.  Could barely understand him.

I find it outrageous that there isn't something we can do to put an immediate stop to this.

I can only confirm all of the aforesaid. The line is bad, and cutting out. 3 calls in rapid succession, and when he asked me, whether I wanted to settle in or outside of the courthouse, I told him to p****off. I would rather think of Nigerian accent than Indian. ;-)  -- Advice: Do not give him any kind of information about you. I even kicked myself confirming my name to him. How did he find that out ??

I just got a call from this number today saying I owe a pay day loan from Dec 09 in California. I've never gotten a pay day loan in my life and I moved to TX in May 2009!  I still have a California phone number. They said the sheriff is going to come and arrest me. I'm waiting to see if the sheriff travels to TX.

Repeated unwanted calls

I got the same phone call and the person with an Indian accent wouldn't give me any info either and when I questioned exactly what this was he wouldn't give any information. I wasn't about to give him any money without some type of paperwork for explain what it was for.  I also wanted someone that English was their first language so I could understand what he was saying - he told me English was his first language.

I keep getting hurrassing calls from this number.

Funny I got the same exact call, I told him I was an attorney and that I would have the number checked out and he hung up.  Dummy!

Just got of the phone with these people.  The guy has a Middle Eastern accent and there was so much background noise on his end that I barely understood what he was saying. Honestly, they scared the spit out of me because they had my home address and IP address and claimed that I took out a loan and never repaid it.  They told me that I was in violation of federal laws for this unpaid loan and threatened to have me arrested.  But, when I said that I have financial records stating that I have never taken out or recieved a loan, they instantly hung up the phone.  I tried to call the number back from my cell phone and it said that I was unable to call the numner from my cell phone.  I also called the number from my home phone (of course blocking the number) and never recieved an answer... The phone just rang for about 10 minutes with no answer.
I think this proves this was a SCAM, so everyone, please, BE CAREFUL!!!

I have reported to FBI  www.ic3.gov/default.aspx and to FTC  www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov also to local PD.   It was obvious it was a scam after 15 secs into the conversation.  Yesterday it was Stanley Marshall...today Anthony Smith.   Local Attorney General told me they have fielded countless calls about this and they think they are either in Iran, Pakistan or Canada.

Nearly a dozen calls over the last week from the SAME "English is not my native language" voice. They seem to be from a script; there are multiple voices in the background (like a telemarketer boiler room); repeat the same line multiple times instead of answering simple questions. Variously they have (1) Alleged an urgent legal matter; a law suit for a $415 defaulted loan with "US Cash"; they will be sending the cops to arrest me; they will be filing a lawsuit tomorrow. (2) Allegedly represent Soloman Law Firm (Houston, TX); Carlson Law Firm (Killeen, TX). (3) Alleged "Supervisor" is "Stanley Marshall", an Estate Atty with ^^. When pressed about Scam reports on their phone Number and violations of Federal Law (FTC) they become obscene and harassing. (4) They do not respond coherently when informed they are violating FTC rules, have been reported as a scam on the internet, have been reported to the FTC.       FACTS: I called both Law firms: neither does collections; neither has offices in Dallas; both basically said "Scam". These are people in India who obtained this number and have bought old debt records.  They pretend they are in Dallas and claim they are with an attorneys office.  Call the local phone company and file a complaint.  This is not a real company, dont send money.  Even if you have debt, they do not list it and keep your money

We have got this idiot calling last week he called 37 times in 45 minutes, I called the State Police and filed a report with a state trooper, the trooper called his number and got a recording that this magic jack customer cannot be reached or somthing like that, They are or he is using magic jack to make these calls because they cannot be traced, you can pick an area code that you do not even live in and pick a phone number and lie to magic jack about a assumed name he picks?? I have contacted the FTC and filed a complaint about magic jacks buisness practices because they are basically allowing scammers to have an open season on consumers!!!!!!

Received call from same person with heavy India accent...told me he was from the Solomon Law Firm located in Dallas, TX.  He went on to say I am being sued and need to act fast with payment or he will turn the matter over to the Sheriff and have them come arrest me and also contact my work place.  He stated he was the ?lead attorney?.  He said he was going to read the affidavit and I was NOT to interrupt while he was talking.   He is very hard to understand...at this point had already interrupted him many times to clarify what he was saying.  He starts to read the ?supposed? affidavit.  I could not understand item #1 and asked him to repeat...this really irritated him.  He said ?other people understand me? why don?t you listen?   He finished listing the 3 items and said I had been ?monitored online?   He provided an amount that I could pay immediately or I could make payments of which a certain amount had to pay right now over the phone.  This ?supposed? event was over a ?payday loan? taken out 12/2009.   I finally hung up and made a call to the authorities...while on that call, this guy calls back 3x...of which he never left a voice mail.    This is definitely a scam....beware!  I wish I had asked where he got my ?non published? number!

I did the same thing, I have Verizon and didn't know about this feature last year when he was harassing me.  Funny, last year I told him that I called the FBI on him and all of a sudden he didn't understand my English.  Sure seems like he did when he left me a minute long voice mail!

This man has been burning up my phone this week. Indian accent, difficult to understand. Man states he represents a law firm,states his call is in regard to a lawsuit filed under my husbands name a d social security number. States it is urgent he receive a call back from banker, lawyer or husband. He further states we should not disregard the call but if we do he can only wish us the best as this matter unfolds. His tone is very threatening whether he is speaking to the answering machine or to me. He does say the same thing each call as if scripted. When I informed him I had notified local authorities and the phone company he made no response so I hung up. He then called back 3 times in rapid succession. I have now blocked the number. BEWARE this is obviously a scam! Thanks to the posts I saw here I was not mislead.

State they're a law firm just calling all my number harassing me they numbers should be investigated I don't know how they get your information but it's wrong if the phone company is giving your information out. It's scary tot know these kinda of companies can just keep harassing you.

Ive got this call and telling me about this lawsuit against me about a loan...a guy heavy indian accent told me to act fast and directly transferred me to thier attorney named karen patterson law firm of solomon in dallas...they keep telling me all the details and cant understand because of heavy indian accent although they speak english good...i was so pissed about this scam because i was asking a lot of questions and he told me to listen....how can i listen if u dont really understand them...i told that i will call a police and they said go ahead....pissed again...i dont like it when attorney aka scam atty...will call you for what to scare you.....and when i told them that how can a karen as a guy calling me and ur indian with a heavy accent...he hung up the phone and never call back.....

I get the same idiot calling me.  Don't call him and don't answer the call.  Sooner or later he'll leave you alone and move onto some other person.

Just received 2 messages back to back from "John"(yeah right!). EXTREMELY heavy Indian accent.  Obviously reading a script because both messages were almost identical even down to intonation.  He only said it was "urgent, and time sensitive" and that all he could do if I refused to call back was wish me well with the situation that was coming.  Total scam......people who do these kind of things for a living need to just crawl under a rock and rot.

I just received a phone call today from 214-396-0044 telling me that I had a lawsuit against me.  They gave me a case number.  When I persistently asked about what the lawsuit was about, the caller with the very heavy accent said he was going to put me through to one of the attorneys who would tell me specifically what the lawsuit was about.  I hung up.  Then they called me back 8 times in succession.  When I didn't answer, they left a message that if I wanted to alleviate any further action to call them at their personal number which so happens to be the same number they called in on. The number reads out of Dallas, TX.  This is a huge scam.  When I was finished with my business, I Googled the number and bingo, here I am adding another complaint to the list of others who have had the same experience.  BEWARE!!  THIS IS A SCAM!!!
