We received a postcard with the 817-953-8005 number.  My husband called and made an appointment. We've been calling ever since, but just roll to a neverending hold. Even if it's not a scam, it's certainly a deceptive contact.

I received my card on Feb.13th.to call 817-953-8005 for delivery. I did nothing except look up all the responses others
have received . Looks like a trash can item to me. Thanks for all your posting.

Same as Betsy & Helen. In Arlington. Was curious & called and I knew from just hearing the man's voice this was not good.   So I checked out the website and saw these posts.  I will call police if I get a call, visit or card from these scammers.

Got a card in the mail and had my son check it out because I have not had anything ordered from the doctor.
Found this site and warned me it was a scam. the phone number they are using is now 817-953-8005 Which is an Arlington/Ft.Worth number. but the address on the card is 2201 Main Street. Dallas Tx.

So I posted the previous post and since they stopped answering my call / also disconnecting me purposely, I called from a different number.  Low and behold they answered.  So I said "I see you are answering calls from different numbers rather than the one I previously called from"....she huffs and hangs up on me again.  So they are also tracking and blocking previously used numbers.

I should have looked it up before calling the number and providing the tracking number.  In any case, when I asked who ordered it, they hung up and I've been unable to get anyone on the phone again...they just keep disconnecting me.  They are hitting the Seagoville area now (2013-12-03) using the number 214-396-5088.  It came as a letter / card.

Medpro is now working the Singing Hills area of Oak Cliff as of early this morning 09/24/013. They are taping cards to doors early in the morning saying "Sorry We Missed You!" It also lists a delivery for an occupant of the household and says this was the first attempt to deliver and has spaces for two more attempts.

They go on to say "Please call to reschedule" (214) 396-5111, M-F 8 am to 5 pm. There a Confirmation ID number at the bottom.

This is probably a scam because they made no attempt to deliver anything or make contact with any member of the household by ringing the door bell or knocking. Second they can't realistically have a delivery for the person named because that person has been dead since 1996.

They're working duncamville, as of 4p.m. Friday, sept 6.

I called the number and the lady I talked with said they had some medical supplies for my. grand father. I told her unless they are delivering it to his grave he died she hung up on me

All of my phone calls go to my answering machine so I can screen them.  The messages from MedPro appeared to be a recording (but it was informal so it seemed live).  The caller identified himself as Brian but didn't leave a call back phone number just 'press ... now' response.  Anyway I had 8 while on a 2 week vacation and 'Brian' was still wanting to schedule delivery to the system that, as he says 'appears that it has already been paid for'.  I had gotten maybe 5 or 6 calls before before I left.  So, when I got home my 1st Attempt notice was on the door and, hallelujah, there a phone number.  I called (from my cell phone which is not the phone number they were flooding with messages) and an Amber answered.  I stated that I kept getting phone messages saying that they needed to schedule delivery for my paid for alert and NOW there was a notice on my door.  I politely told her that I hadn't inquired/ordered/paid for anything and asked "are you guys just fishing?"  ... SHE HUNG UP which is good but probably won't stop the calls.

We were left a Sorry We Missed You notice on our door, but we were home and they did not ring the door bell. I called the number provided and asked them what it was all about and why they did not ring the door bell. They asked for the confirmation ID No. but I said no, I want to know what it is all about. They insisted on the confirmation number, but if you give it to them you are confirming a delivery. The woman on the line then hung up on me when I pressed for more information. Don't give them any information, name, or confirmation number or you may be hooked on this sick scam. Mesquite area working on those who have the handicap sign in car or license.

I got the same card on my door today, with the same message to call and reschedule. I called alright and told them I hadn't ordered anything from their company, and to not bother coming back with a 'freebie' anything for me.

Left notice on door to call and schedule delivery time.  I called and scheduled. I'm thinking I will miss that delivery too! Let them waste their time and gas!

Found the same card on my door tonight when I got home here in Mesquite.  It's a Sorry we missed you, call to reschedule for your delivery.  Thanks for letting me know this is a scam.

Recieved a card on my door today. Have been receiving several phone calls. Called police. I haven't ordered anythng from this company. They are working the Mesquite area. Beware. The target seems to be senior citizens.

I called MedPro after the card was left on my door. Spoke with a girl on the phone, she said MedPro is delivering medical alerts to seniors in the Dallas area, she said the necklace and intercom box were free and she made an appointment for me to get aditional information. Jason from MedPro came out to my house and he showed me the medical alert necklace and how it works. It's $29.99 a month- I knew there would be a charge- no such thing as a free lunch. I ended up getting the service because I live home alone. My children are also happy because they're in California. I'm happy with the service, no complaints.

Yes. This is a scam. They offer a free medical alert bracelet or necklace to senior citizens and then attempt to con them out of money for additional products or services.

Does anyone know anything about this number..they say they are medpro but it seems like a scam..they say they need to schedule a delivery and I don't trust it..
