Don't be a stupid idiot.  The only reason these kinds of creeps keep doing this criminal activity, is so many of you have the IQ of a sheep!  These ARE NOT legitimate businesses!  They are CON-ARTISTS!  Don't give out ANY personal information over the phone!  Not even your name!  If they say your name, deny it!  Don't answer caller ID numbers you do not know!  EVER!  It's no wonder we have criminals running the country, and an Idiotic Marxist as president!  You make me want to move to an island!

This number has been calling for about a month now and it never leaves a vocie mail behind. It getting really annyoing.

I just called them and asked them to take me off of their calling database, but it was actually surprisingly really easier than you guys made it sound. Not to mention that they were really nice about too.

They just called me for the first time, so I decided to look up their # instead of answering because of the area code.  But the creepy thing is that I'm pretty sure that I didn't give them my #.

I heard it's from signing up for some scholarships? I keep getting called so I'm going to answer next time and play music loudly into the phone. perhaps german metal.

It's irritating because I've gotten four calls today.

They have called twice in the past couple of hours.  Each time I answer, they don't say anything.  Almost like a telemarketer that doesn't know how the automatic ring feature works and doesn't know what to do!!!  Is from Wordsmart....eh,, so isn't that really kind of a paradox?

Whatever you do, DO NOT give out any personal information.

Nothing about whether your parents are at home, what they do for a living, your name or their names, NOTHING.

More likely than not, this is a scam or they are attempting to elicit info from you on your parent's activities, etc.  Sometimes they do this in order to determine who is at home and what their schedules are.

This is done to possibly case the home to break in and steal something.  More likely than not, it won't be the callers themselves, but others who are associated with the caller who would do it.  Kind of like someone ringing your doorbell a couple of times and then running away to hide and see whether or not someone comes to the door.  If not, then they can do what they want to without any possiblility of interference.

Be cautious.

I just got a call from this person. He sounded like he had an Asian accent and he knew my name and asked me for my parents. I told him they weren't home and he hung up. I'm really freaked out.

Apparently, they got our information when we filled out a scholarship on the website FastWeb.com

I did, and I think that's what happened. We gave them our information, but the tracking number they gave me is all wrong.

Call them and ask them to remove you from their calling database. Make a note of when you call. Ask for the receivers name and ID number. That will freak them out. State the company will be fined by the FCC if your number is not removed as you will report them. The fines are something like $500-$1000 per incident.

I have an 11th grade student and I have been getting called repeatedly by this # for weeks.

Ive been getting calls from this number for a few weeks now. I haven't answered, and they leave no voicemail. I'm in 11th grade and filled out some stuff so that's maybe why. It's so annoying though.

The calls for m started a few days ago. Just about the time my oldest son started filling out things for scholarships. He is in the 11th grade. That is why they know who u are. Do any of you have a high schooled student? If so ask them if they signed up for scholarships or tje such.

I freaking hate this number. They've called me in what seems like 20 times for the past week alone. I've picked up maybe three or four times but there was never any answer. I'm not so much scared as I am annoyed. I just want to know: what ends do they think they'll accomplish if they keep calling and calling and not frickin answer the phone anyway?
