Sorry to say, Verizon will never stop these kind of calls. There should be a device manufactured that will only allow calls that you can program to allow through your phone line. I am not talking about a call blocker - a system to only allow calls in. Whoever comes up with that device will get rich fast.

Calls frequently, late at night. We don't answer because it's obviously a fake call. C'mon Verizon, you know you can stop this if you wanted to.

It may say Exchange Student but the type of transmission is through VOIP/Peerless Networks according to a search while another search of the carrer and method used showed Bay Star Communications through "paging"...inevitably purposeful?

Calling and calling and calling and calling, every day. They hang up when the answering machine picks up and never leave a message. To make the phone stop ringing constantly, we've had to start picking up and then hanging up. Come on Verizon, you can stop this if you want to.

Weird.  My phone ID says EXCHANGESTUDENT and the American, female voice says they are a student exchange group looking for familes to take in a student.  
No, this is not how exchange programs find their students.  Twice they have called and I've been hung up on the phone each time.  No one answers,  and I just sit there eating dinner quietly.

This number call repeatedly it says on the caller ID  Exchange Student  Very annoying no message, Next call I get I am going to use the air horn

also getting calls from area 714,651,999,310,541,216 and 716. all calls are answered by my answering machine. do not answer any calls from unknown numbers.....They do not leave msg.

This is a SCAM from Nigeria - 5th call in 5 days all with
numbers from EXCHANGE STUDENTS........BEWARE PLEASE............
