My answering machine picked it up and they hung up

I quess the world has developed more bums to find money any way they can and we just do not see it like this while it is happening but they either has a license to do this type of soliciting or not. OH WELL TO THEM ! I DON'T THEM , WHAT HAPPENED TO OUR LOCAL COMMUNITY TO STAND UP FOR HELP FOR THE REAL PROGRAMS THAT DOES NEED OUR HELP I THINK SOME IS JUST OUT THEIR TOO FAR ASKING FOR HELP, AND IF THE STATE IS ACTUALLY LOOKING FOR HELP I THINK THEY WOULD ASK OUR TOWNS TO REACH OUT FOR HELP FOR THE STATE POLICE LIKE I HAVE SEEN TO THE NEWS OF THE TYPE OF HELP IS NEEDED AND HOW THEY ASK FOR THAT HELP, WHO NEEDS A LITTLE TAG, WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO ALL OF THOSE FLOWERS AFTER A STREET DONATION THAT GOES INTO A BUCKET?

Does anyone know if it's a scam cause I just got the same call wanting to know if I would donate to them. Not sure though

It is a Scam. They want money for you state police. I was stupid and gave them the address. I called our state police and was told they do not ask for donations.

This call was blocked by our Digitone call blocker. (We block every area code except the four local ones.) We couldn't answer it; it was blocked. Someone out of town who wants to talk to us would call back (happens a few times a year), so this works great; we can ?invite? those few out-of-town callers. About the only ones that are blocked and shouldn't be are people who, for no reason, block their home phone number. We have been on state and federal do-not-call lists for years? and reregister regularly, so nearly any call that is blocked is a scam.

has to be a scam running... I'm in PA too and just got the call, not message - searches came up that it is a cell phone in Dallas, TX
