Just got a call today with the same message......

Got unsolicited call from 214 414 1036 from Texas.  Don't know anyone in Tx. With this number.  Didn't answer and they left no voice message.  Checked on line and number listed as scammer.

This number called me at 11 pm dating my card has been locked.  TThinking it's a scam

call sounded suspicious.  as soon as recording started talking to me about my account being frozen i hung up and got on google.  looks like they are a scam.  

When I answered this (214-414-1036) number they said my MC was frozen for security reasons, please press 1. I hung up and called my MC company and they said they never called, my account was in good standing.

A recorded message said that they are calling from a company that I could not understand when the recording said it.  The recording said, they regret to inform me, but my account has been locked, and to press #1 on my phone to be connected to someone. I hung  up because if I press #1 they will know that the number is active, and they might know to keep calling me if that's the case.

Had a miss call on my cellphone this AM at 1022A.....it is Sunday......I have relatives
in Dallas so I attempted a call back....got this is not a working number...
Not being that saavy...it is interesting to me my cellphone recorded the incoming number
as 214  414 1036 but when I tried to call back....not a working number....BTW I don't usually
call back but have relatives visiting a daughter in Dallas over the holiday weekend and thought
it might be one of their cellphones...

Received a call from this number while I was at work.  Automated voice said something about a problem with my debit card (which I don't have).  Called the # back and said it was not in service.

Phishing scam here.

This number called me at 9:16pm (PST) with a prerecorded female voice saying that my account has been locked. They told me that imputing my 16-digit number would unlock it.

Obviously, I didn't do it, because it was dissimilar to the previous time my bank called me about suspicious activity. A quick call to my bank's 24hr help line confirmed that I was correct in my assumption.

I just got a recorded message from this phone number with a Dallas TX location. I answered the call because I have relatives on Dallas. The recording was some BS about my pre-paid Master card being locked up and needing to call some 800 type number. I hung up. I don't have such a card. Probably a scam.

I got a call at 1 am from this number saying that it was netspan saying my account has been locked and that I needed to press 1. I didn't I just hung up. My husband said two days prior he also got the same call. We do not have any such account.

I got this call about an hour ago while I was at work. The gentleman on the other end told me that he was calling from Microsoft & told me that they were receiving a number of threats from my computer that would cause my computer to unexpectedly crash & that I needed to provide them with sensitive information in order for them to protect my computer.

This was the first time I've ever received such a call & I had had him repeat his entire spiel over again. I couldn't help but to laugh, tell him that this was the biggest scam I had heard of, & hung up.

800 notes is not affiliated with your callers. Its a board for reporting who calls you so others know. We can't "block" any number from calling you and its doubtful your callers are actually reading here either.  Consider maybe getting a call blocking device or phone.. You can google them and many are around $60.00 or so.

Please block this number from calling me....they call me all the time and I don't know why.....very irritating.....thanks

These guys just called me at 2:46 AM about a pre-paid card that has been suspended apparently I'm supposed to hit a number to connect.
Hung up and put on my reject list

Called at 11:30 on a Sunday night. CID said Verizon, but I knew better, so I didn't answer. They left no message. Scam reports are everywhere regarding this number.

Call and voicemail with no message on a Saturday night.  Blocking this number.

Call from 214-414-1036 on 3-27-2014@ 7pm. Said my MasterCard was lost, push 1 to connect to security dept. I hung up. Does anyone really fall for this? SMH

Hey, I was trying to find out who is calling me lately when I saw you have been receiving calls from the same number.
Yesterday I received two calls from this number (214) 414-1036 and also I found another with (214) 414-1037.
They never leave messages so it must not be important. I don't answer calls from strangers.

Got a call from this number. It was my boss calling from vacation saying he was using wifi to call. I hate my boss! I don't like talking to him when he's on vacay! And I don't like rich foreigners! They don't even pay taxes.

called my work cell phone and did not leave a message. I had a feeling it was a scam since it called on a Sunday afternoon.

This is a GENERIC phone number. It is used by those using a VOIP service (Skype, Google Voice, etc.).

got a call at 3:18am just now.  a high pitched female was asking  disturbing questions on the voicemail asking if i had buried a dead body, or had kids....

It is a generic google number.  My computer savy preteen just called me from it.  I asked how he did it and he said it is a Google Talk number people use to prank or hide their number.  I never answer unknown number and when I searched the number i got pages upon pages of complaints for different things.

Recieved a call, was a voice recording, said my Credit Card had been stolen, wanted personal information...not gonna happen!!!!

I thought Borders went out of business a couple of years ago.
