I got a call and now they call themselves International Courier. Said they were coming to my home and to have someone there. They would need to file the legal paperwork with the clerk before it is legal.

Really. I don't think so either.

And what the heck is the sheriff going to do with you when you turn yourself in.  They would be ticked off to say the least.  Maybe they need to turn themselves in for fraud and threats.

I received the same type of phone call froma 214 # and listened to you people and i ENDED UP GETTING SERVED!!!!
Its proabably a 1 out of every 4 people actually get served but i appeared and they took 8% of my paycheck till the balance was paid so it wasnt horrible but it was the actual time i had to spend dealing with this bologna.

I got the exact same phone call earlier yesterday.... The man stating he'd be at my home, needed two forms of ID, etc. This is def a scare tactic to get the money back from a payday loan. If anyone owes money, they'll just keep harassing you and calling you. It costs too much money to get court ordered papers and actually take someone to court.

Received call from 214-473-4689...J&R Processing threatening to be serve papers to my house tomorrow & that I need to be there with 2 forms of ID or if they have to come to my workplace, my supervisor will need to be present or I could call back 214-473-4318 with account number PMF1169. Since when to process servers set up appointments with a TX phone number in and serve papers in AL?  So happy I read all the comments on her about J& R processing & Hyperion. Wish they would quit calling my home for another person leaving those kind of messages.

Calling our place of business... the guy acknowledges the fact this is a place of business & advises us to tell a coworker that he needs to be ready with his ID becuz a courier with the local sheriff's dept will be here at a certain time to present legal documents to coworker.. leaving the mesg as a heads up & giving opportunity to reschedule if not a good time... also said to call back on toll free nbr of 214-473-4689... doesn't sound toll free to me..

I got the call today and he keeps calling my phone. He told me that he needed me to give them my home address to serve me leagal documents but never said who the documents were from.  I hung up and he called right back but left no message.  I did have a payday loan that i received online and that account has been closed for more than a year now. I'm not sure why they are calling me. Is there something that I can do so that he wont/cant come on my job?  The call came from Plano Texas and he said the courrier services needed my information.

yeah, i jjust got the same call a few minutes ago. it is a bogas claim and scare tattic. in most states pay day loans is illegal and they cant come to ur home or place of employement. if that is the caes u can report them to ur dept. of justice consumer affairs branch and file a report on them. dont let them scare u into giving them info or bank cards or anything. it is a scam. hope this helps .

Yeah received a call yesterday from this company J&R processing saying that they have been trying to serve papers to my work and that i needed to show to forms of ID and I needed my boss to sign as an witness. or to call back to reschedule another meeting place or time to his cell phone when I called back he told me that they could not find me I said really you have my number. he said that i needed to call another number 855-703-6091 talk to someone named Hewitt gave me a case number and said that i was on check systems I said really thats funny they even had an old address of mine lots of red flags. So i called this person named Hewitt no answer then they called me back and asked who i was and told me that I owe a debit for an old payday loan for 589 to a company named Nevis they had an old account number and to a bank that i no longer bank at this guy told me that i need to turn my self in to the local sheriffs depart and this was an misdmanoir charge and I told him that I paid that debit off a long time ago he said then when you turn your self in then show them that you paid it I can not help you
