I don't even have direct TV and I keep getting calls from this number.  I have spoken to the caller and explained to them that I do not have direct TV and that I did not schedule for an installer to come to my home, but they just hang up on me when I tell them and continue to call.

I got a call from this number didn't recognize it so called back . When I called back it had silence and then a recording came on. The recording said, " Thank you for calling and hung up." Very strange . It doesn't ring when you call just silence then the recording. I few minutes later I received a call from 214 701 1752 and they stated they were calling about a direct tv install.. Problem with that is when I questioned him where he got my info he paused and then said , I have this number on a work order for Irving , can't recall a last  name though ." If you do installs you have the customer's last name . This struck me as odd so I asked him how he doesn't have a last name and if the call was some sort of fraudulent activity. He became dead silent and he assured me there was not fraudulent activity.  I told him this number was all over the internet for the same thing and that was strange. He abruptly told me that he would never call me again .. I followed up with "Let's see that you don't"  End of story... so far.

MasTec Advanced Technologies (that's correct), a company that completes installations for Directv. The number is from a call center located in Texas and representatives may call for numerous reasons;

To confirm appointments for DTV installs
To reschedule/cancel appointments
To check if someone is home (in case a technician is claiming no one is)

The company is Mastec Advanced Technologies. Has something to do with Direct TV.

Received a call. Hung up when I answered. I called back. No ring, just silence then a recording stated "Thank you for calling. Good Bye"
