my sister received a call from this number on numerous occasions trying to get money out of her from 2010 I activated the mr. number app on their a** so the phone will automatically hang their stupid a***s up ha ha ha ha ha ha

214-484-0014 callers are idiots. They are so dumb, even when you tell them they have the wrong number they keep calling. Guess we're down to the Consumer attorney bit now. Oh, well, told them so.

My friend gets calls from this number three times a day saying that she owes 800. For an emergency room bill  she told them that she didnt have the money and please  stop calling  the lady jessica said she cant do that

I have been getting calls on my cell phone as well. If I don't answer it, there is never a message left. I did answer it once and got a person who barely spoke English. The only thing I was able to understand is "Steve Young." I told them nobody here by that name and hung up. I don't owe anybody money, so I suspect it is a scam.

Thats because what you say and what they hear is nothing but a lie to them - two different things. Consider getting a call blocker, google them, most are under $60.00. Second, if its a legit outfit, then by all means take the legal steps. Send a cease & desist letter via certified or return receipt US mail.

Do not expect the FTC and FCC to be able to stop it in a hour though. Extortion scams, definitely use spoofed numbers,. Legitimate ones breaking the FDCPA laws will use spoofed numbers also in hopes you can't track them also.   You don't have to stop with just filing a complaint with the FTC, you can also take this to yours and their state attorney as well.

stupid a** bill colllectors calling the wrong number - already promised to take my number off their system, but NO - the idiots keep calling. Looking for Kathy Adams (not sure of the last name). No matter how many times you tell their dumb butts, they will keep calling anyway. Guess it's time to use the throw away trac phone and disconnect the land line. There's no getting rid of them and the do not call registry is joke - the ftc is a neutered pup - there's really nothing but get rid of the number.

that's not correct. they are allowed to call your cell phone. they can not put you on an auto D with out consent but a person can call. See the following TCPA

They call me everyday during English.

They have called me constantly since January 2010. Sometimes 8 times a day. They are looking for the woman who had my phone number before I got it. I ask them to stop calling and they will stop for about 3 months, then they start again. Wish they'd leave me alone. I keep them as "Weird Spammy People" in my contacts.

i have called them at least a hundred times. I'm off work today, and would just like to tie up some of there phone lines. I have the Auto dialer prog running also. i wait till the answer, then ask inappropriate questions. Last person that answered i asked, how can you possibly plan on collection money when they use a phone system that hangs up on you , and also doesn't leave messages. Proceeded to tell her I had day off, and was having fun trying to see how many phone lines they have, which btw at one time i have 33 simultaneous calls being made before I start getting a busy signal.  I was actually told by one of their collectors that I was stupid, and because of me and people like me, that's why were in financial troubles a country. I told him,  he was the one that works for a com that buys debt then he only gets paid commission on money collects, so who is really the stupid one here. he then hung up on me.,

I had a lady who said she was with United Financial Services and I would be arrested because the payday loan place from 4 years ago pressed charges. Turns out it was a scam. Now I got a call from this number saying the same thing. These are SCAMMERS!!! Hang up

I stayed on the phone to find out who this call was coming from: Common Wealth Debt Collectors.  The number is 214-484-0014.  They claimed to have a past due debt notice.  We owe NOTHING and they refused to give us proof.  When I requested to speak to a Manager I was put on hold and hung up on.  They call repeatedly several times per day.  SCAM!! Do not give them any information.

They just call and hang up when the answering machine picks up, like the others do. Definitely not legit. I think I will answer next time and put them on hold until they hang up. If everyone did that we would tie up all of their lines, at least for a while.

At least now I know who it is. Multiple times per day, never even a message.

Do I own sb. a debt? Definitely not. But they called me anyway.

call me 10 times a day, I don't answer, insist over and over.

I have repeatedly informed these slime bags that I am NOT who they're looking for.  They always tell me that they'll remove my name from their call list, but they don't and they call again.  There automated system also provides a feature that allows you to "push 2" if you are not the person they're looking for.  That has no affect in stopping the calls. So I will pay them back and post their slimy business and phone number all over the internet.

I noticed that other callers said the # was for NCC Commonwealth
It's a collector.  We have gotten letters from them over a bill we owe.

They call us about every other day.

Receive calls from this number daily, at different times throughout the day. When calling this number back today I spoke to a Mr. Willis from Commonwealth Financial Systems. Told him I wasn't sure why CFS was calling me and that they are probably calling a wrong number. Mr. Willis asked if I knew anyone named Selena, to which I said "no, I have no idea who that is."  He apologized for the calls and said he would remove my number from their system.
