I've gotten this call a few times and don't answer it.  If it's a collection agency, they definitely have an incorrect number bc I am 100% debt free and have been for many years.

I had a call from 877-903-8613, when I call back it's Clark and associates. No I'd when they call me, leave a message say they are filing a complaint against me? I don't even know what they are talking about?

Sweetheart you watch WAY TOO MUCH tv. Not all collection agencies are debt buyers. In the case of RS Clark they ARE NOT. The original creditor STILL owns the debt they have just hired an outside agency to collect for services people have ALREADY recieved.

Suue don't answer the calls. Don't worry about your credit or paying for services you used. People like you are exactly why the economy is in a recession. Charging what you can't afford to pay for.

It's not true that you don't have to worry about them if you pay your bills.  They keep calling for somebody I don't even know, leaving messages for them, clogging up my voicemail.  They don't keep accurate records because I have told them nicely to stop, and I don't know their person.  Somebody new comes on, and they start calling me again.  Whoever gave them my number, I hope she burns in hell.

I refused to confirm my birthdate and told them if they had any business with me to please mail it to my home address. This really pissed her off....not sure why but she said she was going to make a note in the report that I refused to confirm my birthdate. No idea what it was for but if they have your birthdate then they should have your address.

Don't judge anyone else on here, I get calls cuz I got a new cell number and they will not believe its not the person they r looking for. Send them a cease & desist letter.
By federal law they can't call you.
If they do you can file suit.

thank you all for the posts - i've been getting calls from these people for 2 weeks now and one time i answered - i got a person who speaks very bad english and was looking for a women who i never met - and they will not take no  for a answer when i told them you have the wrong number . now when i see them call again i saved the number as scam call 1 so i know who is calling .

I have received no less than 2-3 dozen calls from these people over the past several months. They NEVER leave a message. Just like the other posts/messages left on this site, when I try to call them back, it appears that they are looking for someone else via my CELL phone number. Even after explaining to them that the person they are looking for cannot be reached through my number, they will continue to call back looking for her within a few weeks! SO ANNOYING!!! I've saved this number in my phone as "DUMBASS DNA" for Do Not Answer so I don't even waste my breath anymore! lol :-)

a chosen number to harassed the elderly & disabled.
Bad move in this State!  We, put them in jail everytime!

What I recommend to all my clients in the short term, save any number that calls you from a collector immediately to your phone book as "do not answer1" followed by "2" etc. That way you will never interrupt a client, or a doctor or your spouse or child, or Jerry springer with an unwanted or embarrassing call from a collector. It puts you back in control of your life.

Im sorry that whoever it is that youre looking for gave you a bogus number but that is NOT MY PROBLEM

All you people have to do is request in writing that they may only contact you by mail, then if they call sue them and win!

I don't even have any debt but yet they feel the need to call me twice a day

They continue to call our number even though we have repeatedly explained that they have the wrong number.  Rodney Glasco (sp?) does not live with us and we have never heard of him except for their phone calls.  They refuse to take us off their list or let  us speak to a supervisor.

Just call a call on my personal cell phone from 214-503-1482, don't know how they obtain my cell phone number, but I looked the number up and found this site. ..I'm glad I did, I know not to answer. ...2 can play at that game :)

they keep calling my work and have told them several times NOT to call my place of business and that I do NOT know who they are looking for.

These people are jerks and if I receive one more call from them at my job, I will obtain an attorney to stop the harrassing phone calls. I pay my bills and have not credit problems. I am not sure why they won't get their damn facts straight before they start hasseling innocence hard working people.

Received a call from 214 503-1482 asking that someone return a call to Mrs. Barnes at ext 121. When Hell freezes. Who are these jerks.
