One ring, then hangs up.

Yea it's some "Julie " saying that she will give you a $100 dollar gift card if you press 1 and if you press 2 than you will be put on the do not call back list or something like that.

Its a BS number, says "your call cannot be completed as dialed......." when you call it back.

called my cell phone, rung once and hung up (did not give me chance to pick-up) but I am not calling back after what I have read in the previous comments.

Call to cell phone; I answered but immediately hung up.  

It's BS, just hit 2 and get rid of the number.

I answered the call before they could hang up. i said hello, and it was just silence. then they disconnected.

Call to cell phone from this phone number with no name displayed. Mr Call Notes application blocked it as "possible spam".

They ring once because if they can verify it is a working number,  your phone number is instantly worth more money when they sell it.

One ring, then nothing.

This caller calls and allows it to ring only once and then hangs up.  This has been going on for a couple of weeks.  I want it to stop.  

One ring only. I do not call back.

They seem to enjoy calling, but only letting it ring a couple times before hanging up.

They are lazy. One ring and they think you will call them back.  Block caller is easy.

That's not it.  They called me and I don't shop at Target very often and definitely not over Christmas time.  Good idea though. :/

Say "whoever" not "whomever."  It is the subject of the sentence and therefore nominative case.

Just received one of those from that number where it only rang once and what is so wrong if its a telemarket call why would they call at almost 11:30pm. I thought they even fell under regulations or laws about making these obnoxious calls during normal sleeping hours.

Makes me think of Target breach...were you shopping during that time and whomever stole it has our #s

Likewise - called a few times on my cell no message - I didn't pickup as don't know no body in TX. Added to my blocked caller list on iPhone - very annoying.  

does anyone who has received this call have snap chat as an app on their phone?

I'm 18 no bank no credit cards and they ask for that and told me their a multi-million dollar corp I don't believe it 1st were is the million dollar name on caller i.d. 2nd she tried her hardest to get a pin for a card scandals
