Don't be an a**!  They aren't selling you a loan.  It would seem someone used your number to attempt to secure one.  Rather than lash out, try finding out if you have identity theft issues.

I absolutely hate this company! These are the lowest forms of life I have ever had the miss-pleasure of dealing with? and I have dealt with people only worthy of the blade! The fact that our society allows the existence of a company that has no more usefulness then a fungus growing on a snakes a$$, makes me actually hate that I am a human! I would rather be excreted from the bowels of a wildebeest then to be the same species as these husks of humanity! I am to the point that I am doing without basic necessities just to pay them off as fast as I can. As God as my whiteness; I will never in my f#$%ing life have anything to do with them or anyone associated with them as long as I live! And I will belittle them every millisecond of everyday that I get the chance! If I can cost them just one customer, my life with have more meaning to me then if I was reincarnated as the Dali Lama! This group of pond scum have made my quality of life drop to the floor every since the day they took over my auto loan! No less then five calls a day to my cell my job my home my family and on a few occasions even my neighbors!!!  People I don?t even know other then a wave and ?how are you?? greetings! I paid my truck off in November of 2011, in January I called looking for my title only to be told, sorry you didn?t pay it of in time and now you owe us another five grand!!! Two days later a random neighbor told me he had heard about my truck not being paid off on time and that I had to refinance for twelve more payments!!!! I was like, WHAT?!? Who told you that? He said, oh, the girl from your finance company that just called me and asked all kind of personal questions about you? like, do you still live there, do I know the numbers to any of your close friends , co-workers or family!!! He said no and she should not call him back and that?s when she said, well you should know he didn?t get his truck paid off on time and still owes us five thousand dollars?.!!! DIRT BAGS!!! But I digress; the day will come when they fall and when that day comes I will lead the parade to their offices to spit on them as they leave for the last time!! Join me in my new prayer that I say every day. (Dear Great Ninja, please rain down your vengeance on Santander and make the winds of bankruptcy blow them back down into the belly of the beast from were the slithered out of. May crippling disease and fatal viruses infect them and their loved ones for all of eternity). Too harsh? SO WHAT! THEY SUCK!!!

Constant calling from this company under different numbers.

if you call the do not call registry number and report this phone number and business, they will get a 500 dollar fine for every time they have called you as long as it is after you have been put on the registry. I know it works because I had a business shut down this way because they called me so many times that the finesracked up so high that they had to shut down their business because they could not afford them

I was granted a month grace when I had open heart by Roadloans. They sold to Santander I guess and they wouldn't recognize the grace period or said it wasn't done right. They call but never say anything. I have been on time with payments for over 3 years now. These people should be put out of business or fined heavily, their tactics are way out of line for an American. I bet the callers make allof $8 an hour harrassing people, about par for Texas wages.

They just called me asking to speak to my mother,. I asked how they got my number and what kind of business they were, The guys said he could only give that info to the account holder. I then told them that he would not be able to do that because she died 5 years ago, then I hung UP.

They are not debt collectors. I don't have an auto loan, or any other loan or debt and they still call me. Learn what you're talking about before you open your mouth.

Unfortunately, they are correct, CitiFinancial Auto was purchased by Santander Consumer USA and they likely own your loan now. It's very annoying... Santander has bought numerous lenders and accounts over the past couple years.

Santander Consumer USA actually owns Drive Financial and Triad. Santander has acquired a number of companies as well as accounts from over 254 different lenders.

Kinda lost its punch that insult of yours...I mean mispelling and then apologetically reposting.  As for Obama, Mr. Worst President Ever or Socialist no-nothing, take your pick, but he deserves no respect.  So lets keep to the subject.  If you don't like harrassing phone calls then get a call indentifier and then DON'T ANSWER if you don't know who it is!  EASY.  But be prepared for the consequences if you ignore current bills.

My guess is that you are either a debt collector or someone who is more than necessarily sympathetic to debt collectors.  Therefore it is EASY to dismiss your stupid advice.  DON'T EVER CALL A DEBT COLLECTOR BACK FOR A BILL OLDER THAN 7 YEARS OR THAT YOU CONSIDER DEAD!  IF YOU DO AND YOU AGREE TO MAKE PAYMENT THEN THEY CAN, THEN AND ONLY THEN, LEGALLY REACTIVATE THE BILL FOLLOWED POSSIBLY BY THEM EVEN SUING YOU!

I read a report recently about Santandar in which the writer inadvertantly (one time only) spelled the company name "Satandar".  Freudian slip???

Hey everyone, I found a solution to dealing with all the harassing calls. It is simple and effective. It will do the trick every time. When you get a call, do not hang up or do not just ignore the call. Here is the trick and it annoys them, trust me. If you have a land line phone, just pick up the phone receiver an lay it down. Do not say anything. If you have your TV or radio on, place the receiver near the TV and radio. If you want to annoy them even more, turn up your TV or the radio very loud. And if you are away from the TV or radio just lay the phone receiver down, without saying anything. If you have a cell phone, just hit your answer button and lay the phone down. A friend also tells me, he hit his answer button on his cell phone but just pretends like he has a cold and cough in the phone or he goes in the bathroom and flushes the toilet while holding the phone close to the toilet so the person hears the toilet as it flushes. I have tried these things and it appears that the calls have gone down.

I've been getting phone calls from these 214 area codes but they never leave any messages.  Here are the numbers I've gotten which according to other people all belong to Drive Financial.

The Santander  keeps calling my home phone numerous time a day from 214-614-3300. Please notify them SANTANDER to immediately stop calling my phone number.

Santander has taken new lows.  I received one today...."what's up".  Like I know them.  What is wrong with these people?

They have started calling my cell # stating they are collecting  a payday loan I did online. I don't need a loan, much less one on line.  Same scam as Atty Anthony Rodrigus, just different phone number.  Been dealing with this same scam, different names and number, for two years now.  They started out wanting to deliver legal papers to me in person, from out of state...come on anyone knows they can't do that.  Filed police report and froze credit.  Just wish I could get them to stop.

Ok: a TELEMARKETER is a person using TELEMARKETING strategies. " is a method of direct marketing in which a salesperson solicits prospective customers to buy products or services, either over the phone or through a subsequent face to face or Web conferencing appointment scheduled during the call."  
So, it IS a telemarketer, though not necesarily a scammer.  :)

Daily phone calls for a employee. Told them not to call again. Continue daily with someone else. When I ask for their name/address they hang up.....
