...even though our daughter paid her note in full (father co-signor) they keep calling leaving harrassing messages on his work phone.  Bad enough that they harrassed the hell out of her even while she was in the hospital!!!

They called looking for someone, several times. Since then, I ignore the call. Still, they keep calling.

Yes, Santander/Drive Financial are wonderful companies to deal with, especially their "customer support" personnel; and no, it's pronounced san tan der.  They just think because they sponsor F1 races overseas, F1 racetracks and F1 race cars, they can call themselves san tan dair.  Horsefeathers.  After I watched some F! races overseas and saw their name stuck up everywhere, I stopped feeling bad because I got sick, was hospitalized and fell behind on my payment.  They can kiss my a**.  Their VM always says they have ways they can help me.  I have asked 3 times for them to defer a payment.  They won't, they just want money.  Well, they can kiss where the sun don't shine. I have no pity for them.  My credit is so effed up now, it doesn't matter anymore.  Maybe I can get a govt bailout since my house is upside down now because of the mortgage crap. At least it's not late. Oh, and for you big, bad repo people, when you cross onto my private property, you have left "reality TV" and you will be face to face with real life.  Unless you posses a court order, your bank order only says get the object; it doesn't permit you to trespass. For you own good, please heed.  I'd hate to know you ran those pretty $300 dollar rollback tires over spike strips; you know, the kind that let you in but won't let you out. Course, I know you bottom feeders either can't read or don't read these entries.

Do Not Call doesn't work with these people.  Filing a grievance with the FCC and State Attorney is about the only way to go...unless their office is right down the street.  :-)  Then you can state you grievance in person.

Unless they had a court order repo, you should'a told them to kiss where the sun don't shine and get off your property.  Too many of these repo folks watch these so called "reality repo' shows on TV and believe their own invincibility.  Trust me, you don't want to breach my private property unless you are invited or have a court order.  Just because they have a "pickup order" from the finance company doesn't mean they have received permission to trespass.

Reporting to BBB does absolutely nothing.  BBB does nothing legally; it's really only good for the local community area to check a businesses veracity.  Does nothing to stop bottom feeders.

If you have a smartphone you can download a free app that automatically blocks calls from any number you choose.  I use Call Control

I actually went on their website and changed the numbers of the contact people they had listed :)  Just make something up, be creative :)  Don't forget to hit save, you can also change your number so they can't call you anylonger (unless they have that in some 'other' data base).

I changed one number to a BlockBuster I knew was going out of business and then another number to an already closed Pizza Hut, etc.  

Let them get annoyed for a while, ha ha!

These people even cannot on the day the payment is due wondering where their money is. It's not even late until the next day! They call several times a day and when Voicemail picks up its on hold music. My contacts list in my cell phone is mostly comprised of santander phone numbers that are now blocked. Jerks!

These are the lowest forms of life on the planet! I get calls at work all day for someone that I've never heard of and when I tell them that no one is here by that name; they actually say I am lying and that I am that person!! Crazy predatory loan people! Never in my life would I do business with these criminals! They totally blow off any laws that regulate their collection procedures and need to be shut down! I have gotten to the point that I just start talking complete gibberish to them until they get so mad they hang up, then they call right back and I just keep it up. It has become some what of a smoke break for me every day.. lol, losers! Haha I hate them though.. o_O

Thank you sooooo much JJ (Jen) for that information. I have a loan through these people and they are horrible. I pay my payment on time every month but they continue to call me at all times of the day...they call my work number and hang up and they even gave me late fee's on payments that were paid ON TIME! I am now up to $80.00 in late fees and I am not paying them as this is their problem for not having their stuff together...this is the worst loan company out there. I am also going to report them to the better buisness bureau

It is Drive Financial.  Someone used me as a referal and the company is not smart enough to tell from my voicemail that I am not that person.

I'm a divorced 62  yr old disabled woman. I have NOT even applied for a loan nor authorized anyone to use myself as a reference. I am unable to drive ! This company is calling me at least twice a day. I can not us a phone & they leave no message on my mechine ! I am tired of this crap. Is there any thing I can do to stop this harrassment ?

I used to live in Texas so I answered bcs I thought it might be someone I know. Person said a Calvin Williams had listed me as a reference and they were calling to verify.  Of course, I do not know this person...and am now wondering if Drive Financial wanted to verify if I was at this number for other reasons.  I regret I answered yes when questioned if I was.....  I do not like to give out personal information unless it is a company I contact.

My car loan is through my local credit union.  They don't sell personal information.  How did Santander get my number?! Who sold it to them?!  They finally left a message wanting to confirm the arrangements I made with them.  I didn't make arrangements with anyone.
