Got a couple calls on my cell today, left no messages. I have a pay as you go so it costs me to answer these nuisance calls.

I've gotten 3 calls from this number today.  I answered the 2nd call, but whoever it was hung up.  I wasn't able to answer the 3rd call, though.

How do you make it stop?

Keep receiving calls at our place of business from 214-651-8180. On the Caller ID, it appears as R Morton. They ask for two former employees. After informing them that these people are no longer employed by us, they say they will call back later. After asking who they are, they just say they need to talk to the aforementioned people and insist that they try again later. Don't they realize that they are former employees, so calling back at a later time won't benefit anyone?

This number calls me about 8 times a day on my home phone. Initially, they  ask for someone I don't even know wanting them to call them.  I ask them to stop call me so then they starting calling nights until 10:00 and on Saturaday and Sunday. Anyone have any ideas how I can get them to stop calling? I've call my telephone company and they told me to report it to the police.  I filed a complaint with the do-not-call- registry but no help.  I am so tired of these stupid people at that bank.

Message left: This is Beverly, badge # ??? from First Financial Bank. I need to speak to you before (gave a time, but forgot...hey, I'm 70 yrs. old) today. She didn't leave a number to call her back!! Of course, I wouldn't have called her back anyway.

I get this number calling everyday around 8:30AM (west coast) on my TracFone.

I am on the No Call List.

I don't answer unknown numbers anymore. They leave a message to call some 866 number. I used to answer when they called, and they would ask for personal information, with only their word that they were First Financial Bank. I refused to give them any information and accused them of attempted identity theft. Since they call my business-provided cell phone, all I could see was the phone number, so I had no way of knowing if it was really them or not.

Has anyone reported this to the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Police Department as a complaint against the Bank there? Or reported it to the Better Business Burea?
i just dont buy its a real live bank, i believe its a phone scam.
i heard of some scams that someone will call someone and tell them they have a relative in jail way down in Houston, then tells them to call a certain number, so the distressed person then calls that number, and wham! they got your line, they steal your phone line and from that point on can run up thousands of dollars on your phone bill before you are even aware of it.

I got a call from this  number, on my tracphone cell, a woman saying she was looking for a Marisha, and i said she had the wrong number, she repeated the number, and i said, yea but no you have the wrong number, there is no one here at that name, she pushed further and asked if i was in *** area code, and i told her NO, ( i have a personal policy of *no communication* with phone pushers) she then acted like i was totally wrong, and acted to be the offended party! then, i hung up on her as she was fixing to go around again into the stupid argument that my area code must surely be ***, i was very offended and thought her rude, and probably someone who is running a scam

hung up on her

GB - The exact same thing happened to me! I graduated early and was enrolled in college at 17 and my card arrived with a $150 credit limit...Same story, I am 23 now. Its 1st Financial Bank USA. Their website is www.1fbusa.com. They prey on potential college students and college age people and even people still in their senior year of high school! They say they "do their own collections work" and never sell their bad debts to random collection agencies like you see plastered all over here. Good for them. Ha.

The number belongs to 1st Financial Bank and they come across caller idea with all kinds of phony names.  These people are real idiots.  They sent my daughter a credit card when she was only 16 that she did not even apply for.  We informed the credit bureaus who said she was not responsible for the bill because it was their mistake to send a card to a minor.  They assumed she was old enough to have it simply because she was enrolled in a few classes at a community college while she was in high school.  She only used the card once, and now they're saying she owes them $1700.00!  They sent this card to her 9 years ago.  The debt has long been charged off and the credit bureaus have removed it from her credit file, and they're still trying to collect!  It is also illegal for them to come across caller ID with phony names just to get you to answer your phone, so don't even deal with them.  They're morons.

It is 1st financial bank. 1-800-488-4575. that is the 800 number you can call back to. They called my house from a texas number - 1-214-651-8180. They call several times a day - which is annoying. Seems their communication in regards to updating their accounts is non-existant. I took a message for someone they called for and they still seem to call back even when I tell them they are not available and won't be back til after 6pm. Ridiculous and seems they need a better solution in getting in contact with customers.

I got a call from that number today asking about someone I knew.  I couldn't understand the man and when I told him so, he just kept asking me if I knew the guy....
Him: "do you know him?"  (I'm guessing this is what he said through his broken English
Me: "Pardon?"
Him: "DO YOU KNOW HIM?!?!"
Me: "I'm sorry, but I just can't understand you that clearly."
Him: "DO YOU KNOW HIM?!?!?!?!?!?!?"
Then I hung up.  He was VERRRRRYYYYY rude to me and why is he calling me about someone I know?
My friend said he gets these calls about 8 times a day and he never answers.  It IS harassment, and it needs to stop.
