I got the same guy...did he tell you God Bless You when he was done with the call? One day he will know what the wrath of God is going to feel like.

On 8/1/11 I was contacted at work by Mr. Robert Montero from the Department of Crime and Investigation stating that he was calling to make me aware that I had committed a crime by defaulting on a payday loan. He said that there were 3 allegations against me and that if I didn't pay the 500 default I was looking at possibly 5000 that would include court fees, fines and penalties. I asked him for dates and documentation and the name of the company. He told me it was far to late for that and I should have already recieved that information. I begged and pleaded that I didn't have that kind of money, he said well if I could come up with 200 on my debit card and then send a payment authorization to C*** Payment Services along with a copy of my drivers license he could let the "attorney" know and hence stop the action against me. After doing some reading, I discovered that I had been scammed, changed my debit card they were unable to process the next payment. He called my work 4 times that afternoon and my cell phone multiple times. I have since sent a cease and desist letter via fax, as that is the only number I have. I have not heard any more from them.

i just got ..the call know for the first time at work..and it crazy i ask them to fax me prove of what they say to my fax at work ,but they told me they cant do that .what department of crime tell you that they are goin to send you to court arrested out of your job and something about sexual ,what that got to do with a freking loan tht i never got and they say they got my ss come on..and the lol and indian with KEVIN ALEX SCOTT lmao come who names ther kids with 3 names ..they cld call all they want i got my bank statement so kiss my a** ill se you guy's in court you are not getting crap out of me lol :P.....send me proff

these towelheads are stupid. They can't even come up with a believeable story. I overload them with harrasing phne calls until they shut the number down. It really makes them mad.Everytime they answer i say rude and obscene things to them. Sometimes I hust play along for awhile and make them think ther're gonna scam me then stary calling them scum and and laughing at them. They're sorry excuses for living creatures!!!!!!!!!!TERRORISTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ignore these scam artists. I have been going through the same thing since October of 2010.
There is nothing you can do, because they keep changing their phone#'s. Cursing at them only makes it worse. Sooner or later they will screw up and call the wrong person, and we will hear about it on the news.

They call my cellphone that shows up 0000, not leaving a message. Then they call my work and leave a voicemail. Telling me that if I don't respond by the end of the day, they are going to take legal action against me in my workplace and at my residence. This is soooooo annoying and frustrating to get, especially at work. I had to listen to the voicemail 5 times!!! to get the phone number. The lady was that hard to understand.

This fool named Robert Matthews called the office looking for an employee I told him we don't take bill calls. He said this is not a bill collector and I said Did he win the lottery being a smartass!! So I took his number to gave it to the employee. That dumbass called back 4 or 5 more times one of the last times he called I said "Is this a f******g joke!! " Needless to say he called back one last time and really got cussed by a fellow employee that was pretty funny. :)  Hopefully he won't call back if he does he will just get cussed out again. I called the employee and told him not to call the number I had left him because it was a scam. We figured out it was a scam when a fellow employee looked the number up and all these comments came up.

These c**** jockeys kept calling asking for someone who worked at my office so the next time they called I had our receptionest transfer them to me where I got on the phone and cussed them out. They called back several more times and she passed them to me where I cussed them out again.What a bunch of a** clowns. There number if any one wants to call them and give them s*** is 214-699-0536

These yahoos are calling for one of my employees.  Give names like "Sam Johnson"  "Michael Johnson" but have such a think indian type accent it is hilarious.

They say they are from the "Department of Crime and Criminal Investigations" and that if my employee doens't call them back they are going to "file charges" that may "result in criminal charges".

I told them I was forwarding the messages to the employee and if she wasn't calling them back that it was her choice.  They then said they were going to "fax an affedavit" to me.  I said great, here's the fax number.

Have not received a thing.

Same people for past 4 months. Finally told them I was reporting all numbers, companies they claim to work for, and the lady immediately replied that she was sorry to bother me and hung up. Next day the guy called the next day same guy or woman each time with different names. I told him the same and all he could reply was that's my business and the cops will think it theirs when they show up at my home and job(which are the same since I am a stay at home mom) they have my fiance's SS# but only the last 4. I talked to several ppl who have had the same problem and a few said they had heard it's a phish from emails used as FaceBook sign ins.

My wife just recieved a call from these guys stating he was with the FBI. call the number back and boom same as other posts. They ask for confirmation on SS#. Do not give them any info they are only trying to steal and sell ID's. It is a Federal and State crime to represent yourself as an officer of the law. Apparently they have not figured this out. If you can record the conversation and turn over to local authorities.

i got the same call and saying the same things,

called my work claiming to be Kevin Scott from Dept of Crime & Investigation regarding a case file.  Man had thick accent, maybe Indian...sure didn't sound like a Kevin Scott.

I have received calls twice from this guy (from 2 different numbers) telling me I will be sued...first time he claimed I had not repaid a payday loan (which I have never gotten a payday loan) and he said the money went into my account in Nov 2010, which was 2 months before I even opened the account!!  He had my banking account #, my IP address, my home address and phone plus my SSAN.  I don't know what he hacked to get all this info.  I had asked him for proof of them giving me a payday loan he said he didn't have to provide proof...that I had to provide proof that I didn't get the loan!!!  So when I told him it was impossible to put money into a bank account 2 months before it was even opened he said "I will have this investigated and call you back"...I never heard from him again, but now I got the same deal but from a different phone number.  The first area code was 310 and this one was 214...indian guy who I had a hard time understanding but I told him I had already looked up his # and found he's nothing but a scam artist and to destroy my information and not contact me again.  We'll see....

same thing today happened to me. i spoke to the same rude annoying non english speaking people. im super concerned. Id like to know how the heck they got my work number. grrrrrr

Back in february this number called me and they were very rude. saying i was gonna be arrested tomorrow at my job. I gave him a hard time then he started sexual stuff over the phone, I hung up. They called from several numbers and I tried calling back on all of them and I couldnt get through. It said number was disconnected. They called me at my job and I threatened to call dept of agriculture and report them. They have not called back until today. I arrived at work with a message to call the dept of crime investigations. Of course it traveled through my job. It is horrible. I called the number and I couldnt talk to anybody with clear english. They kept asking for my name and ssn#. Just recently my ssn# was stolen and now I show up deceased. Im wondering if these people had anything to do with it. After reading all these comments. I tried to call the number back and it is disconnected once again. This is very frustrating. What to do?

These people have called my cell phone and now my job stating they are calling from the Dept of Crime Investigations in Dallas, Tx. Caller stated his name was Michael Sinclair, but when I asked him his title he intially stumbled the said (Investigator), then I guess I overwhelmed him with questions so he transferred me to an Alex Ferguson. When asked for his title he just kept saying Supervisor. I said Supervisor of what? and he replied "The supervisor over here!" This reply comfirmed for me that this was some fraudualent stuff. The said if i didn't pay i was going to jail but I needed to pay them. Since when to you pay the police? I'm taking this information to my local authorities to find out if I can do something about this.

Ive had calls from this same guy, from many different numbers. The truth is we dont know where they're calling from, but I know he is a scam artist. Ive filed a report with my local police department but it really doesnt do any good. They'll just find new numbers to keep harrasing you from. As Im writing this Ive received 4 calls from him that Ive declined. Trust me, he's just another piece of garbage using scare tactics to get people's money. He's even dumb enough to call my boyfriend that lives with me. The only thing that worries me is that he has my social security number. The entire thing. I've made the calls needed in case something should happen. Fight back! Let him know you know who he is. Tell him he's a scam artist and you're going to file a harrassment charge against him if he keeps calling. He'll threaten you and then the calls will stop for awhile. This is the first time this month he's had the balls to call me. He can't and won't do anything. Just make calls regarding your SSN to the appropriate authorities in case he does take it a step further.

This guy keeps calling my work and cell phone number saying his name is Jacob Matthews and Robert Matthews, demanding that I took out some type of loan that I don't know anything about and he asking for my banking/debit card information.  I always tell him that I am busy and need his number to call him back.  This caller too has a thick Indian accent.  After I hang up, I always google what  number he has given and it always directs me to this website, depending on what number he gives me.  What can be done about this?  It is nothing short of terrorism.

Yes, I received this call several times. Did not answer. They left a message saying they had a warrant in my name and ss# and if I didn't call them back something bad would happen.

i've received this phone call as well.  They claim to work for Hopkins Law Firm and someone is going to arrest me tomorrow.  I made a few calls and was told that this was a scam to retreive my information.

Michael St.Clair Officer of the Law (taxes), he spoke with my husband.  My husband told him so mail the documents showing I own money.  He took my husband he did not have to. Mr. St.Clair was told until he could or would mail the paperwork I owe them nothing.

I keep receiving calls from this number saying (I think) there is a grave legal consequences against you and your SS # and if I don't call them back immediately there will be consequences at my place of employement and home!!  the lady speaks w/a heave middle eastern indian accent so I really can't understand her but I think thats what she's saying. I've had numerious calls since last Oct/Nov. when I did get an on-line loan and then I've just been bombarded w/all kinds of offers and unfortuantely scammers!!!  I've had calls from Officers, Attorneys, all saying they work for legal dept. and if I dont' give them $$ they'll arrest me at work!!  I've called the FBI who assured me legimate collection companies would not and can not contact you in this manner!!  So dont' give any of your info. to any of this people!!!  they're just out to take your money!!!!
