A few months ago, a neighbor collected for this charity and I gave a donation. A few weeks ago, I've been bombarded with numerous calls - aha neighbor uses several different numbers. I'm guessing they shared my name and number with other charities (cancer related, veterans, etc) as they started calling frequently too! I have an unlisted number - does no good. They never stop calling - it's harassment at this point.

after 4 rings, the call dropped off

These calls are so annoying!
I never pick up these calls and I block their #'s as soon as I can.
If they're from legit charities(which I seriously doubt) then they should rethink their strategies because not only is it costing millions of dollars to keep up with this charade but less money is going to the real reason they're collecting money.
Anyone who gives to these charities are only paying to get bothered more!!!

This number and many others are from the American Heart Association. AHA Neighbor usually comes up on the caller ID. I get calls from them from about 8 different numbers. It is for the program that they send you envelopes, you send them to your neighbors and collect money and they you send it to the American Heart Association. They are very pushy!

They've called several times a day from various #'s and states and NEVER leave a message. I understand they are a Non- profit and are not exempt from the National "Do Not Call" list but they shouldn't be allowed to continue calling several times a day either!

Called us today - we didn't answer. Just looked this up and saw the above post about American Heart Association. It showed up on our caller ID as AHA Neighbor with this 214 Dallas number - yeah, they're not my neighbor either - we live in New York!

Called ID says Private Caller. I have private calls blocked..they somehow get around it. I didn't answer.

The calls are starting earlier then usual! I just received a cll from this number, which I did not recognize or answer, and no one left a message. So much for being on the Do Not Call List!!

numerous calls, various times, no message, don't answer, forward a complaint to your state attorney general. probably a hijacked number used to cover a solicitor.

It's the American Heart Association. There's a "Dear Neighbor" campaign where they try to get you to volunteer to ask your neighbors for donations. 214 is Dallas, and that's more than 1300 miles from where I live, so it's no neighbor of mine.
