Ok one of these calls I got said Wells Fargo Bank on the caller ID.. Did not answer the phone but as everyone here is saying it is not the bank at all. So many of these scam companys can hijack legit business and use their numbers. Don't fall for this. I will not answer the phone even if it is a well known business unless I know for sure I have been in contact with these companys.

Here are several numbers that they say they are from the STATE HEALTH MEDICAL COMPENSATION DEPARTMENT,  MEDICAL COMPENSATION DEPARTMENT, MEDICAL COURTS COMPENSATION DEPARTMENT,   :  214-328-4552 ~~~~ 214-740-1523 ~~~~ 848-459-4922  .

What you need to do is call the Federal Communication Commission  888-225-5322.
and report them.  

I received several calls from this number I used to not answer it so I thought I would answer it see what it was The number was (214) 740-1523 The surprising thing. This number on my caller ID it said it was Wells Fargo Bank I don't have a Wells Fargo account hmm kind of funny it was a foreign man kind of rude as well definitely a scam there is no Wells Fargo Bank that has this number a scam don't even answer the phone a scam

How do I get these people to stop calling me?  They have called me from this 214 #, one in the 248-area code, and EACH time, I tell them to STOP calling me.

Got a call from this # they called me by my wrong name and when i corrected them they hung up. Sick of these calls and how are the getting my cell #?

I have been getting the same call for months now. Says they are from state health department and refuse to let me talk to their supervisor. very rude and when asked any questions they just hang up on you. Says that i have had a surgery in the past and when i tell them no then they ask about birthcontrol  implants or a mesh something. They barely speak english and cant even tell me what state i am in when they call

The man calls me very day and he even hung up on me, then called me back to call me a moth******er. He also calls and asks fir someone else and ive told him he's got the wrong number but he still calls on a daily basis!

It is a scam, I do not know what they are scamming for but it is a scam. Tell them it violates HIPPA laws for them to want to discuss your medical history and it also violates HIPPA laws to discuss anyone else's medical history (which is actually does violate HIPPA laws to discuss anyone else's medical history with anyone). Tell them you are going to report them if they continue to call you. And if they do, well then report them. PS, so far, they use 2 different numbers 214-740-1523 as well as 786-594-2525.
 

I get multiple calls from this number saying my wife had some surgery in the past and is entitled to big compensation.  He keeps asking to talk to her directly..

I have gotten multiple calls from this number in the past two weeks.  I get the same man who speaks with a heavy accent and he is asking questions about a surgery my wife has had in the past.  I said she had surgery 18 years ago when she gave birth...  He says it could be from then.  The caller ID says Wells Fargo Bank and he is claiming my wife might be entitled to big compensation then he starts asking me about what medications she has taken.  I told him he'd have to talk to her about that and we end the call.  He will be calling back, I'm sure.  How do you get this guy to go away?

All of this sounds very familiar.  While I do not usually answer phone numbers I don't recognize, this was a Dallas area code and I recently was there for a family funeral.  Talks about "compensation" for surgery, particularly bladder or transvaginal sling.  Claimed he already had my info from the state of Indiana.  Having worked in  medicine for years, I told him that would be a blatant violation of federal HIPPAA laws and hung up.  Today, I got another call from 214-357-4247.  Haven't looked it up yet but suspect when I do, I will see the same complaints.  PLEASE, DO NOT EVER GIVE OUT ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION TO ANYONE ON THE PHONE!  Am going to report to Attorneys General in IN & TX.

Most of the time there is no one on the other end.  When there is, it is a man with a strong accent talking about being from the Florida Health Department and he wants to talk about a surgery I had.  I have asked them to stop calling, but they just keep calling

This man keeps calling me saying I could be eligible for a huge settlement because of a trans-vaginal mesh screen that I had put in during a surgery.  He sounds like a foreigner and I can barely understand him at times. Tired of getting these calls!!!

Rcvd a call today on my cell.  I did not answer.  The caller left no message.  I am on the Do Not Call list.

I keep getting calls from this number a man with a heavy accent inquiring about medical procedures, bladder surgery, mesh implants, hystercomies, and any other surgery,  I get this call every day and continue to tell him to stop calling me and refuse to provide any informtion.  I am so tired of it.

Same as above, seems to be someone inquiring about medical procedures that they want to do a class action suit on... asked if I had a couple of different procedures, they seem to be pulling names out of a hat... called me yesterday and I answered told them I had not had any procedures and today they called again, didn't answer. Looking for the block # function on phone... when I tried to call back just now got message that call could not be completed as dialed...

I have gotten several calls from this number, keeps asking about medical procedures I have not had, busy if I try to call back. rude male voice. at lease four calls this month from 214-740-1523.

I have gotten calls from this number nearly twice a week now asking about surgeries I have never had.

I got a call from guy who barely speaks English. Tells me he is calling from some medical compensation company, and I am entitled to benefits from my surgery. Tells me his records show I had surgery (which I did when I was a kid, had my tonsils removed,  but I was skeptical about all of this so I didn't disclose the type or when I had surgery and just said it was a very long time ago). He starts listing of the types of surgery he thinks I had. I laughed a little as he was telling me about contraceptive implants and bladder sling, but I completely lost it when he suggested I had a vasectomy. You called and asked for Christina, you are talking to a female, and you ask if I had a vasectomy? I told him he had the wrong person and hung up on him. It is a scam and he is after your personal information. Block the number or simply have fun with it, but don't give him your info.

Just called Wells Fargo to report this and they said it is bogus, don't give info, and to call our phone provider, Verizon to have the number blocked!  

Multiple calls from this number for nearly a week.  I didn't answer the calls because they are not in my address book.  I am also on the do not call list.  Beginning to think the do not call list is only good for companies that are legit enough to honor the wishes of those they call.

214-722-5917 is associated with the number above. They keep referring to a surgery that was done a few years ago...I didn't have anything done EVER. They called today from the number above and when I told her I never had any surgeries and asked he to remove me from her list she hung up on me . When I try to call them back a recording comes back saying I was unable to connect this call or I get a busy signal! I an also on the DO NOT CALL LIST!

I have received two calls from this number, i have had sugery, and he asked for me. IM PISSED AS THE ONLY REASON I ANSWER CALLS I DONT KNOW IS I AM A MARINE MOM WITH A DEPLOYED SON, I DONT KNOW WHEN HE CAN CALL AS HE IS ON CONVOYS ALL THE TIME AND WORKS 24 on/off... pisses me off idiotic morons, have nothing better to do than prank call all of us... CANT THEY STOP THE MADDNESS??? OBAMA CAN HAVE NSA MONITOR OUR CALLS WHAT ABOUT THAT IDIOTS?????
