This number shows up on on my daycare information as belonging to me.  
I can tell you I do not even live in the same state as this area code.  I have never had this number or one even close to it.  Don't know how it is associated with me but I am trying to have it removed from websites with my name but they all say they can't change the information they got from public records but it's  not on my public records.  So frustrated.

I don't know what the deal is with this number.  I haven't received a phone call from it but it shows up with my sms and mms!  Here's what happens:  someone (anyone) texts me. It will show their name if they're in my contacts or their number if they're not.  Underneath that, it show the number "2147483647".  When I scroll down to the empty box to reply that same number pops up at the top of my screen under the name or number I'm actually replying to.  I've never seen anything like this before.  The number traces to a "Wil Stuart (home), Dallas, TX".  WTF??  Who the hell is this?  And say what you want but this is harassment and the FBI should check it out.  It's not just one person that's being harassed and when your crossing state lines that falls under their jurisdiction, does it not?

I missed a call from this number.  Tried to call it back, could not be completed as dialed.

After recieving 5 calls from this number, I answered.  Said he "is in the shipping department and as a valued customer of one of my credit cards has free gift for me and needed me to verify credit card information", I told him "No, take me off this list, keep your gift and do not call me again!", he said "fine I'll call back in 20 minutes", sure enough this A$$HOLE called two more times that evening and has already called 4 times today. They started calling two weeks ago, once a day, including Saturday. Number from TX? I've no biz in TX. Never picked up.

This MF is just fooling around and I guess he is try to get me in some kind of scam, they have called like 8 times.my kid answered and he or she didn´t say anything. Last time he calle I said hello and he did not answered and I ask to stop calling to my number.

I never answered the phone since I did not recognize the number (214-748-3647) but I did use a land line and blocked my number using *67 and I dialed this phone number and no one answered  "hello" but there was an automated "goodbye" on the line and then it clicked off.  I looked it up online and this number belongs to several companies in several cities in different states.

this number has been calling me for three days straight. i finally picked up and the guy told me i was going to receive a gift card in the mail. he verified my name, home address, and the last four numbers of my debit card. i said no thank you and hung up. TODAY i check my bank statement and i have a charge from a different number for $3.00 from some fake company in texas. SCAM!! bank has issued me a new card and they are disputing the charge. very annoying!!!

214-748-3647 is a very common bogus number used by spammers.  It's a fake caller ID number generated by their spamming software (yes, it's easy to fake a caller ID).  It's a 32-bit number with all bits (except the last) set to 1.  For those of you who understand hexadecimal notation, that's the value 0x7FFFFFFF.

In case you're wondering, 214 is the Dallas, TX, area code.  But there is no "748" exchange in Dallas.  This number is fake.
