can anybody tell me about this number that has been popping up on my cell

called me today. didnt answer, but they left NO voicemail. i got curious and two minutes later, called back. it asnwerd with "this number is not in service. please check the number and dial again." i've read on other websites that its a scam to run up your phone bill. I am also on the no call list. so. i dont know whats up with this.

getting calls from 214-758-0000 both at home, showing up as branch, and now on my cell phone.

They just keep calling.

i got this call today and i didnt answer because i get all kinds of wierd numbers on my cell and i figured if it was important, they'da left a voicemail. but then i got curious and called it back and it says "the number you have dialed is not in service" whent hey had JUST called me like. 2 minutes ago. But now i know NOT to answer the phone or call them back anymore. Thanks for the help guys!!

Got a call from this number (214)758-0000. I don't answer calls I don't recognize... as I only have a cell phone. I called it back within 5 minutes of the call and it didn't even ring.... it just went straight to a phone company recording that said "The number you have dialed is not in service."

Then how the hell did it call me?

call and nobody says nothing, get this call 3-4 times daily

i just received a call from this number too & it's past midnight! I googled it & found all these comments on this phone number making calls to different people. I'll make sure not to answer the call if it happens again.

Yep...this number has called me 4 times today...and a million times other days. I'm too scared to answer it...maybe it's THE MAN.

We just got this call tonight and answered because we were expecting an important call.  All we got was dead air and looked it up and found the same info you did:
Dallas Texas & ID is P.Branch.  Will try and block this call next time by setting our phone not to ring when they call again.

I've had this caller twice this week. It comes up P.Branch also. Don't answer it if they call you. The better business bureau says its a scam and they can charge your phone bill if you answer it. Don't know who it is, but if you call it back it just rings and rings. I am on a no-call list too and still get these weird calls. Wish they would stop.

I just got this call, as well. Not sure who it is, but from Dallas, TX area code.

I am not sure if this help narrow it down, but we just bought a car and I have been getting this number on my cell phone MANY time a day.  Nothing on answering machine and when I call it back it just rings and rings.

We are getting hundres of calls from this 214-758-0000 to our toll free numbers racking up a $.05 each time.  No one is on the other end. Anyone know who owns this number? I think it is some sort of gateway or auto dialer. My toll free service isn't much help. Companies like these should be put out of business.

Nothing was left on answering machine.
