I also am on the so-called "do not call list"! What good does it do? I picked the phone up and immediately hung it back up. At least they will have to dial again.

Identified himself as David with General Electric Home Security.
Told him this is a Do Not Call number.
He hung up.
Later same day received a call from:

Caller identified herself as Marsha with General Electric Home Security.
Told her this is a Do Not Call number.
She hung up.
