I work for AT&T and it doesn't have anything really to do with the carrier you are with as much as it is the people who are sending this phising scam. Definitley call your provider and advise them to the message and I would also contact the BBB and PUC

I'm a former At&t customer - but kept the same number when I switched companies. Hmmm... Interesting. Glad some of you called on it. I got the same thing a few minutes ago.

Got the same text. Called up the real City Credut Union to check if someone had an account in my name. They said it's definitely a scam and to alert anyone else that got the txt that they are trying to fix the problem. Am an AT&T customer.

yep. im an att customer and i just got this text. i called back the number from which i received the text (it is "not a working number") and the number included in the text (i cant get through to an actual person). ive never been phished before. bothersome.

I got the message about 1 minute ago. What the hell? How do we report them and block them from calling again? I'm an AT&T customer.

I got it too...are you all AT&T peeps? I text them back asking for them to send mail correspondence pertaining to this...they should have my address if this is truely legit. Obviously, it is not.
