Repeated calls, from "PC Support & Service" and "We are now calling you in the correct time to find these errors and save your computer." On and on and on...
"I am Daniel from your Windows Operating System Support, and I am going to save your computer today, now is the time we must do this..."
This has got to be a total scam...they call all the time, to warn me that my computer signaled them to call with an urgent error message. Heavy accent, from perhaps India.
Extremely irritating, and you can't get off of the phone politely.

they just started calling me this past week.  I was suspicious also and could not understand much of what the heavily accented speaker was saying.  he wanted to assist me in keeping out a mal virus.  He had an accent of India.  I finally hung up on him.   But the technician has called me 3 times this week, even though I hang up on him.  My son told me that the computer is protected.  I called Dell and they said it is a scam.  I am about ready to file a complaint with Dell as other Dell customers are receiving similar calls.   the Dell complaint telephone is:   877-382-4357.    I am fed up.    Hope your mother is no longer bothered.   Julie

Alan Lee called me as well and identified himself as "Microsoft Windows technical support" multiple times. He said my computer notified him of "error" messages and tried to get me to download some BS website. I sniffed out his smelly scam and asked for a number to call him back. He told me 214-856-8767 as his number was unavailable on caller ID. I looked up this number and was sure I would find out this was nothing but a SCAM!!!!  Thank you people for reporting!!

Prank Call
I got a call from a "technician" with an indian accent. He had me fire up the event viewer and it showed, of course, many warnings and errors. These could be correct because I have been having trouble with a HEUR.Trojan.Win32 malware as shown by Kaspersky for several weeks now. the caller tried to get me to go to www.teamviewer.com and start a remote control software, which I was very suspect of, of course, but it always failed to run because Kasapersky always reported it contained a virus and deleted it. Somewhere along the line the telephone call was dropped and this was probably the best possible outcome, anyway!

I received a phone call from 972-591-8270 and they wanted to get hooked up with my computer...thank God I had enough sense to say give me your phone number.  They said I had over 5000 viruses and that my very old computer was going to crash...duh my computer is only 8 months old and I have great protection on it...please be aware...they also called on a telephone number that I do not use! Please be aware.

Get a can of Raid! These SHILLS need to be sent to a roach motel! As Adam West used to say (on Batman) "Poor, deluded, creature!". It's a scam, we know it's a scam, they know it's a scam - but still they try! It's like an old Roadrunner - coyote cartoon. Get a good anti virus software, keep it up to date, defrag your computer, uninstall those toolbars & useless "free game" malware programs. Cheaper than sending money to the "Feed the Shill" charity.

Steve, you do realize that checking the event logs in Windows and claiming that those are errors that will blow up your PC is a SCAM, right? You are the scammer here ONLY :) (that's Indian talking)

NO ONE from Microsoft will EVER call its customers and claim their PCs are so infected that they will make a big kaboom :) No one will actually ever call you and tell you that, you as the PC user are responsible of having your PC fixed. If it's a software issue, google it, there are zillion of forums and proper tech communities that will help you fix your stuff FOR FREE!

People, do you have issues with your PCs? Call the place you purchased it from or contact the manufacturer, they are your best option. It is impossible for someone to say that your PC is infected like that out of the blue, it's a SCAM, they will not help you, they will gain access to your PC and steal your data. Keep your computers safe, be careful what and where you click and NEVER, NEVER share your personal data with low lives like Steve & CO. Stay safe!

PS: Tamianth, love your posts! It makes me sick reading these shill posts, you are fighting back, keep up the good work!

Your windows scammer company tried to tell me I had a serious computer error sending out bad data oh my. You were right I did have a computer problem except it wasn't what you said. I already knew what the problem was but you insisted you knew what it was and could fix it remotely. Oh Really? Well guess what, I build computers from scratch you know like making a cake from scratch take all the ingredients throw them in a bowl say a few magic words turn on the mixer and presto a perfect working computer. I told your low watt guy this and he absolutely insisted I was clueless about my problem. Since I was now tired of wasting time and no longer amused I hung up. As the late Paul Harvey used to say; "And now for the rest of the story". The problem turned out to be a bad sata port 2 on the motherboard which was causing random blue screens; the cure new motherboard. If you can fix that remotely why are you working as a shill scammer?

Typical computer scam. They call you about "problems" with your computer then try to get you to connect through a web site that lets them install malware on your computer. Either that or just scan your hard drive for personal information to exploit.
