Most jurisdictions allow legal actions, civil and/or criminal, to deter various kinds of defamation and retaliate against groundless criticism. Related to defamation is public disclosure of private facts, which arises where one person reveals information that is not of public concern and the release of which would offend a reasonable person. "Unlike [with] libel, truth is not a defense for invasion of privacy."[2]

False light laws are "intended primarily to protect the plaintiff's mental or emotional well-being."[3] If a publication of information is false, then a tort of defamation might have occurred. If that communication is not technically false but is still misleading, then a tort of false light might have occurred.[3]

Please remove this from your website immediately. Please consider this official legal written notice as required by law. Failure to remove this information will constitute your unlawful action by assisting in the dispersing of this negative, untrue, false and misleading information regarding this company.

Unfortunately you have nothing better to do except follow me around and ask questions.  Then call my employers.  I am just a man that had enough experience as a salesman and as a sales manager to open a collection agency.  Jumped out there and risked it all.  We did well for the first year and grew faster than most businesses.  Then I left the business to fly solo.  When my ex-business partner had the company on his own he fired all of my people. Settled the accounts and folded the business with in a few months. Owing everyone money.  Because I had started another business people came after that business.  Posting scathing remarks on here on businesses that none of them had done business with.  I rode that hurricane as long as I could. However, I couldn't get it to grow.  I opened a new one in a different part of town hoping that I could get some traction and ran in to the same issues.  I decided that it was not for me.  I just need to do something different and work for somebody.  Every place I went to work you guys post it on the internet. You guys are obsessed. I filed bankruptcy and they kept dragging it on and on and on.  I withdrew my petition to file.  I had to focus on paying my bills and taking care of my family.  All of my ex-employees started collection agencies asking me questions.  I started a consulting company Buono Business Consulting to help them out.  Recommending my vendors etc.  Always stressing to them to pay the clients.  Grow slowly.  Make sure you have a partner you can trust 100%.  Then I went to work full time for one of my clients they blew up quickly telling me the had all of this money to pay for it.  They want the best. etc etc .  Long story short they fired me because of these online post. I missed work a couple of days to handle some family issues.  I went back to consulting and bills were coming fast that I could not pay.  My ex-business partner from long ago calls out of the blue.  We make up and started Thornton, Frost & Associates after my Grand parents names.  Stressed to him we have to pay these people. take it slow.  I don't want my name on anything I trust you to pay me what our share will be.  Well we started slow but people wanted to work for us again.  I tell them I cant talk to you unless you don't work for a competitor.  Bunch showed we started rolling and then BOOM!!  BAM!! POW!!  Same s*** different day.  Partner is no where to be found.  He is the only signer.  Got to let people go. I had one more guy hanging in there with me.  Partner comes back collects money we go to pay bills and he disappears again.  Thanksgiving, I am talking with family about business and get an account.  I was planning on collecting it myself then Bam partner shows back up. HE collects it in two check over two weeks.  We cut my uncle his two checks less our fee.  The first one clears.  I get more business. Other guy gets business. Then my partner collects the money. I write checks for rent and payroll. BOING the checks bounce. Partner (the only signer on the account) is no where to be found.  Account is empty. I am broke. Just bounced my rent money.  I had to borrow from family that doesn't have the money to pay the bills.  I get a job that started at the end of December selling phones to businesses.  Then low and behold one of you guys email the entire company that I am a crook and so are they for having me work there.  They immediately terminate me. WOW.  I have been lost.  I do not know what to do.  I do not know what you people want from me.  I do not have any money.  Any money that was made and not paid out went to running the business.  I can not work anywhere because you people will post more or call them.   ANYONE CAN POST ANYTHING ABOUT ANYONE ON THIS WEBSITE AND NOBODY SHOULD EVER CARE WHAT IT SAYS.  That has been what I felt since 2009 when I first found the sight while working for as VP of sales at another agency.

SO HERE IS THE SOLUTION TO THIS UNCOMFORTABLE SITUATION.  IF I HAVE HARMED YOU.  IF I OWE YOU SOMETHING. ANYTHING AT ALL. AN APPOLOGY. PRAYER. MONEY. RESPECT. A HUG. A JOB. I will be willing to do whatever it takes to right my wrong.  Be creative.  However, once I have paid the debt off to you.  You agree to stop and or delete all of your postings.  Also, if I do not owe you a dime.  You should just be shamed of yourself and stop.  If I have hurt your feelings bring it to God and pray.  He will forgive you and I will too.  It is Easter.  I want a clean slate.  This is my email address that I have set up so you can email to me what you would like me to do to make right the wrong that I have done.

I have used Jeff Buono's companies many times and have always got my money. I think you must be an upset employee or competitor trying to  undermined Jeff Buono's creditability. I suggest you stop spreading lies about someone that you don't know anything about. You can write anything you want  not using your own name. You are the chicken for not doing that. I suppose you are afraid you will be  taken to court for defamation of character.

Drew Karl Stanley and Jeff Buono are at it again, their new company is Thorton, Frost & Associates 15150 Preston Rd Dallas TX 75248.  Phone numbers [private phone numbers removed].  These two criminals have opened up agency after agency stealing money, contact a detective or FBI agent as soon as you get a call from these crooks!  They need to be put behind bars!

It looks like the chickens are coming home to roost.  Although Jeff Buono filed a personal bankruptcy (Case # 12-40436, Eastern District of TX), listing nearly 500 unsecured creditors and nearly $2,500,000.00 owed to clients of his multiple collection agencies, he has now had his first adversary proceeding filed against him in the bankruptcy case (and I would expect it will not be the last).  The complaint makes very liberal usage of terms and phrases such as "embezzlement", "violation of fiduciary relationship", "stealing their money" and "fraudulent actions".

Once all of the other creditors (read former clients who were ripped off) get on the bandwagon and file similar actions, the preponderance of the information will likely be acted on by law enforcement.  Since a large number of the transactions which took place crossed state lines, I would think it likely that the FBI will be involved.

Oh I would love a call from you, you promised something you didn't follow through with & now I guess my only option is FBI.  Could have solved this the easy way, but nope.

Really, you must be one of his employees then?  I've talked to quite a few businesses & he has failed to pay us all.  What a crock.

i think he will be able to continue the same scam under new names forever. no one cares hes only steeling money companys dont want or wrote off so hes doing a service for folks.

Sooner or later, Jeff Buono will run out of options.  If you are looking for him, don't bother to go to the address listed on the Goldman Pearce website; it is a virtual office, the latest term for an answering service.  If you really want to see him, try visiting [residential address removed].  Curiously, the post above that purports to be from "John Goldman" is very very similar to posts that Jeff Buono made in similar forums when he was working for Haller Harlan & Taylor.  As for JB Mikel & Associates, that is a play on Jeff Buono's name; his middle name is Mikel.

If he has collected money for you but failed to give you your share, I would recommend contacting the FBI.  Law enforcement is starting to crack down on unscrupulous agencies that pop up like this solely to rip off their clients.  Witness the case of Maxwell, Turner & Associates and Stanley, Morgan & Associates Inc., and their principles Paul Anthony Vasquez and Stefan Lemar Miller.

If you are a business owner and have commercial receivables on which you need collection assistance, steer clear of this operation.  A good rule of thumb is to only use a collection agency that is certified by the Commercial Law League of America.

If anyone is looking to reach John Golman or Jeffrey Buono their new office number is 1-469-519-2788 but you'll just get this lady that says NOBODY is available.  What a scam.  If you have been scammed by this company please reply, I'm working with another company that has also been scammed & we are going to get our money back by working together.

I have been using them for a while now and they always do good work for me.  They always pay me once the money has cleared.  I had a problem because my salesman got fired but, called in and spoke to John Goldman and he took great care of me.  They have always been there for me with straight strong advise.  The only problem I have with them is that they will not take all of the accounts I tried to give them and their rates were a little high.  Small price to pay when it could have been worse.

Do not place any business with Goldman Pearce LLC, they make it all sound good but in return they will collect the money that debtors owe you & then not pay you in return.  We were one of the lucky companies to fall for the scam & haven't been paid back for what they collected.  If you had the same problem please reply to this message & we might be able to work together to get our money back.

Received a call from "Jeff Pearce" today, he asked for owner by name.  I asked reason for the call & he said "he will know" so I proceeded to transfer call.  Our owner was at lunch & asked me to take a message for him to call back & to get more information because he did not recognise the name.  I got back on with Jeff Pearce & told him I needed to take a message but he said "that is okay, I will call back".......like that will get him through next time....I THINK NOT!  I looked number up on-line & found out he was calling from Goldman Pearce - Litigation Management located in Dallas, TX.  Now, why would we want to have a Texas company help with litigation management?  Calls like this are VERY ANNOYING, they act like they are personal friends of the owner & they act like they are very important & they are rude also.
