These low lifes are showing on caller ID as an unavailable number with the number 112149740665 showing in name area. Can't believe people still fall for these crooks. But they must or this scammers would be out of business.

I got the call at home.  I didn't recognize the number, so i didn't answer it. Googled number and saw that it is not someone important to me, so I put the number in the Android Reject Calls list, as I always do for unrecognized numbers. Problem solved.

Shortly afterward I got a call from my work number, which I had transferred to my home number for today.  It was some recorded message, which I assume was the 214-974-0665 number, too.

This pisses me off, since I rarely give out my work number, except to doctor's, dentist's etc.I must have used it when I purchased something online, and the vendor gave my number out. Damn.

At first I thought it was a computer generated voice, then realized it was an actual person calling. I had only decided to answer because my caller ID showed one of those long numbers that began with a V (V50817041800184) and I've been curious what that is about. I decided to re-dial it, and realized the call actually came from 214-974-0665.

The initial call started with her saying "We will be in your area soon"...I waited and she hesitated...and then started into a whole thing about giving away 200 free alarm systems.

I cut in, because coincidentally, I just had a new alarm system installed a month ago. She kept right on talking and then when I tried to ask her how she got my number, she hung up on me. Since I didn't leave our number with anyone ( except the company we actually bought our alarm system from) during my search for our new alarm system, I'm positive they didn't provide anyone with our home number, so this was probably a coincidence.

Still annoying. I recently purchased a call blocker system (manufactured, apprently, either in, or for, the UK). That has SIGNIFICANTLY cut down on our spam calls, which has been nice, but these types of calls are getting through.

USA Alarm......Worst voice response computer program ever.  Hire a real person at least to peddle your scam.

so the DNC list is working?  you have got to be kidding...and the list of those you say are NOT calling are actually ALLOWED to call you...tells me how much you know...guess it's because you are an adamant supporter of Obama...who has nothing to do with the DNC...so calm person, if you are so calm, why are you posting at this website?  wouldn't you just go on with your life?  guess you lied, and I figure this is not the first time for you...stay calm...btw maybe you would like to post your phone number(s) so that I can test how calm you might actually be...am betting you won't do that...

Showed as "USA ALARM" on my Caller ID.  The same clowns also employ other phone numbers from same area code 214. ...( Once again some village has lost it's Idiot. He can be found at 1-214-974-0665 :-)

I don't answer calls with IDs that I do not recognize, AND I do NOT call back anyone I do not know. This dude left a message to call him back, its urgent. Well, lets see, since you don't say who you want to talk to to, take a long walk off a short bridge.

Repeated calls. No message on machine. Suspect scam. Blocking it.

Been getting calls from USA Alarm. Didn't answer. No message

Phone rang. Checked Caller ID. Didn't recognize the number.  Didn't answer.  Done.  No muss.  No fuss. Not much time taken up with nonsense.  
Didn't pick up to let the caller(s) know that it was a viable number. Didn't listen to find out what accent was used or what the purpose of the call was.  Didn't care then.  Don't care now.
Didn't get upset if the DNC was adhered to (I'm on it but scammers, who don't follow the DNC guidelines, will find ways to get around it) or what Obama is going to do about it.
I have a life and instead of getting bent out-of-shape, morally indignant, cursing and slamming the phone down, and making this a big deal (instead of the small irritant that I choose to make it), I move on with my life.  I'm in charge of what takes up my time.
That's just what I do. Simple.  More power for me and for you, if you follow my lead, right?

P.S.  The DNC IS working; otherwise, calls from legitimate charities, political action  
        committees, annual fundraising, and other businesses that ARE following the
        guidelines would be calling, also.

They keep calling but never leave a message

Caller ID said "USA Alarm" - let's see - how stupid would a no-call lister have to be to entertain any unsolicited discussion from a stranger regarding their home security system? Speaking of security, with the mere push of a button - problem solved, added to my call blocker! Thanks for calling, moron!

Got a call from this number with Caller ID of "AMERICAN GUARD" but they left no message.
