got a call from this number several times asking for mrs lejune i said she got the wrong number then asked me if i am the lady of the house i said no, then i hang up.

(1) To answer your question about being on a DO NOT CALL LIST: Fundraisers are EXEMPT from the Do Not Call Listings. Just as Surveyors and Politicians are. Once you have the tele-fund raiser on the line with you, you can request to have them REMOVE your (Phone Number) from their Data Base. Most Fund Raisers will comply.

(2) Many Tele-Fund Raisers will not identify who they are until they get the person who they are asking for (The Decision maker) on the phone. It's perfectly legal, but once the decision maker answers they have 10 seconds to explain (A)Who they are and (B)Why they are calling. Most will do this right away.

(3) To answer your question about State Troopers not calling to ask for contributions. YES You are correct (State Troopers) are prohibited by law from asking for pledges, but Fund Raisers can call and ask on their behalf. Most of these funds collected will go to an organization which offers it's "Member" State Troopers certain benefits that they don't usually get from the state. Such as Additional IInsurance benefits and scholarships for their children and MEMBER brotherhood gifts and assistance to Member Troopers who have been in a catastophy.

Often a State Trooper will tell friends not to donate to some of these organizations, but in actuality, the MEMBER Troopers actually do receive benefits from the organization, like members of the Pennsylvainia Lodge of the AAST (American Association of State Troopers).

One thing to remember, the Tele-Fund Raisers are always suppose to conduct themselves as professional. They are NOT to be rude. You can always request to speak to a supervisor if you encounter a rude tele-Fuund Raiser.

Got this call on my cell 10/8 07, 3:03 PM in the middle of working. Unwanted and no one answered when I picked up. Research show it is some police association AAST or something for donations. Please block calls. I am on the no-call PA list.

Received another call from PA Lodge AAST.  I don't answer.  This time they left the phone open and were recorded on my answering machine.  A lot of background talking , burping in the phone, joking around, mentioning a phrase from "Meet the Fockers",etc., until my machine cut them off.  I consider this harassment.   I am on both do not call lists and screen my calls with caller ID.  I'm considering calling the Bucks County Consumer Protection Agency.

Called me at 8:13 this evening, asking for my husband by his first name only.  When I stated that he was not available and could I take a message, the person quickly hung up.  I too tried to call the number back and got the same message saying that the mailbox was full.  We are also on the Do Not Call List

They called me and started talking about a fundraiser. He asked me if i was home alone and listed my address. I lied and said I was 8 and my baby sitter was 18. Then he asked me if she was pretty. Then he said um um and hung up.

Some jerk from 215-203-0868 just called my home, asked for my mom by name, and when I said she wasn't home, he hung up on me! No "thanks" No nothing. I'm on a do not call list and this jerk has just caused me great disGUST.

i had a call from pa lodge aast today at 4:00 pm. no one answered me.I wish they would stop calling me!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've seen this several times. I finally answered it. It's an organization claiming to be seeking donations for State Police something or other. Wouldn't give them a dime over the phone. Told them to mail info to me, asked for my mailing address, I hung up at that point.

Answered "hello" several times.  Finally left phone off hook until busy signal came on.

This article says they don't represetn troopers in NY - wonder if the same is true in PA?  (By the way, I'm about as far from Philly as you can get and still be in PA)

Caller ID, we didn't answer. How does one stop a non-profit group like them? What is so frustrating is a lot of tiimes they get the phone numbers and addresses from VOTER REGISTRATION data - that should not be given out as the same type of unwanted calls start around election times!

I too, just received a call from this number.  They didn't leave a message and I didn't reach the phone in time to answer it. The caller didn't leave a message either on the answering machine.  I searched superpages.com, which told me that it was a land line based in Philadelphia. I live in Schuylkill County, far from Philadelphia.  When I returned the call, I got told the voice mailbox is full.  I read a previous post that it was the Sate Police asking for donations.  Isn't that what we pay taxes for?  This is nonsense!!!!!  How do we put an end to this?  I should start calling and ask for donations too.

I just recieved a call from this "PA LODGE ASST" and he knew our last names....he said "May I please speak with Mr. or Mrs. X!" But I told him that their not here and he didn't want to leave a message. Perhaps our names are on a list?!

I noticed that I received a call from this number on my caller ID when I got home today. My friend just went into a Rehabilitation Center that is located in Philadelphia. He said he was going to call me. So this is most likely where this call is coming from. If he calls again when I'm home and I talk to him, I'll let you know for sure.

AAST= American association of State Troopers (Pa. Lodge). Begging for money, like they don't get paid enough...I wish I had their pensions & benefits! Maybe I should start calling people and beg for donations...Hmmm

i keep getting calls from pa lodge aast 215-203-0868 but no one answers when I say hello. I call back and it says the mailbox is full! please help

just picked up the phone from this number.  said hello a few times got a response.  There was a lot of background noise on the other end of the phone, many people talking.  then they hung up.

I saw the # on my Caller Id and picked it up and said hello and there was no response. So i took my cell phone and called that # and it said the voice mail was full so i didnt get to talk to anyone about why they called.

Every now and then I will return home and see this number on my caller id screen.  It shows the name as PA LODGE AAST.  I have no idea why someone in Philadelphia would be calling me.  If they were calling for a reason, they should leave a message.  I am on the do not call list, and I have never done business with this company/number.
