This a****** wont stop calling and they dont even speak when I pick up the phone. I tried calling back, but the phone provider tells me that the phone number I am trying to reach is not in service.

keep getting calls from this number to my cell. Leaves no message. Called back and said not a working number. How do you make it stop?

This is definetely one of those individuals who has tooo much time on their hands.

Got a call this evening from what sounded like PECO but it turned out to be Discount Energy. Before giving any info I asked a few questions and the caller hung up on me. Sounded like a boiler room call center. I looked up their site and they just started selling in the PECO zone in PA. Their deal is a one year contract for fixed price thru 12/31/2012 and some type of variable rate after that. The penalty to get out is $10/month for what's left in the term. If Discount Energy is a legitimate company, they should dump their outsourced call center, revamp their sales procedures and give customers options on what plans to go with. As for me, I'm not interested in their pitch.

If you are not on the PA DNC list, do so... This is the 6th number these Electric Supplier Hawkers have used.  They are right up there with Rachael from Card Services and Tom from Home Protection as being unbelievably harrassing.  They will ask for your Peco Account number and then switch you without your knowledge.  Their other numbers are 215-213-3234;  215-213-4244;  215-213-5423;  215-213-8588 and 215-242-4843.  REPORT ALL CALLS AND ALL NUMBERS to the Do Not Call Website and hopefully they can catch and stop who is behind this!!!!

ANOTHER of the numerous numbers from Electric Provider Hawkers.  They pretend to be from PECO ask you for you account # and then they will switch your electric without your knowledge.  REPORT THIS AND EVERY NUMBER AND CALL to the Do Not Call Website until they get them SHUT DOWN!!!!!!

I get this call everyday and even when I answer it is a recorded messageand when I call back the message states that this number is not inservice.

I tried calling this number back about 10 mins after recieving a call from this number, but a recording said it was no longer in service.

been calling for a week of so, hangs up when it gets to vmail if we don't answer answer, doesn't answer if we pick up.  Not sure of the purpose of the calls if they never try to connect.  ++

Agree...hangup and possible spoof caller ID...might be a PECO number as well.
