Called a cell phone that is on the no-call list. Just a recording about car insurance, did not listen beyond that. Amazing that this number is still being reported here a year and a half after the first report.

Yet another automated call from a bottom feeding, fly by night car insurance huckster.  May they reap what they sow.

I received a call with this caller ID today. The carrier is CoreTel/Core Communication, 866.744.3652. The customer service rep seems to be under the impression that these calls are legal as long as the caller doesn't make threats. I told him it was illegal to call cell phones with an automated dialer and he had never heard of such a rule. He didn't bother asking any information from me, so it was pretty clear their policy was to ignore such complaints.

I had already filed my complaint with the FCC. In the future, I will call CoreTel first, politely read them the FCC rules, and make note of their response, then include that in my FCC report.

Why does it seem now that MORE AND MORE of companies are DEFYING the Do not call List?  Why would an AUTO INSURANCE Company think someone would do Business with them when we're on the Do Not Call List for a Reason!  They are slamming Cell Phones more and more now. As usual I reported and Blocked them!!!

Call came to my cell phone, which is on the do not call list.  No message was left.  I didn't answer, but called back from my work phone and reached a recorded answer indicating "possible reduction in auto insurance rates."  I will report the call also to the do not call registry.

I called back with my number blocked.  It said "have dialed is not in service.  Good bye." and hung up.  Genuine telephone company messages repeat several times and do not say "Good Bye".
