I receive calls from this number every week and every week I ask them to remove my number from their Database. Now that I know it is a payphone I'll add it to my blocked numbers list. Thanks for the info.

Received calls several times. They would hang up and leave no message. Discovered it was Friends Hospital in Northeast Philly which is a mental hospital, I believe.

215-305-4853, Caller ID "FH", is a public phone inside the Friends Hospital for the convenience of patients and their guests. Anybody can use it. It is not a phone from their billing department. Friends Hospital is a mental health facility so some callers could be mentally disoriented, but that is hamrless to you on the phone. If you didn't have a friend or relative in Friends Hospital, you may simply ignore the call and don't worry about it, as it was very likely that a patient was trying to reach his/her contacts but dialed a wrong number. However, telemarketers can also sneak into the hospital and use that phone to call people since anybody can use it. If you ever receive a marketing call, you do need to alert the hospital to have their security personnel keep an eye on that phone.

Friends Hospital is definitely not located in Olney; Olney is definitely not North Philly. Friends Hospital is located in what is considered Lower Northeast, very close to Frankford.

Called me two minutes apart, left no message. I'm at work and didn't know the number so I didn't answering and waiting for a message. Then I looked up on here as I was calling it back. Let it ring for a solid minute or more with no answer. Side note, Friends is more like Onley (North Philly). It's on the Boulevard across from the Home Depot shooping center.

I'm going to agree that it is Friends Hospital in NE Philly. But, there is no way it is just billing because, we spoke with the person who called us (a patient). She didn't say where she was calling from (which usually means she is calling from a mental hospital but, I digress), so I had to investigate. I called & asked to confirm if this is a number from a line at the hospital, & said that I think it was a payphone. The operator at Friends Hospital confirmed that it is "a generic number that comes up when anyone makes a call from anywhere in the hospital" but, that it wasn't necessarily a payphone.

caller id says "psychiatric sol". a man leaves several messages at a time asking me to call him at a different return phone number. he sounds very disoriented and slurs a lot so i will assume he is a mental patient. he also only does this for an hour each day as if he only has that time to use their outgoing phone line. i guess there isn't too much they can do to limit who these patients call. i'm hoping he'll finally give up on my number soon.
