Got call from number listed also; thanks for your comments

4/13/14 5:08pm Caller I.D. says Directv and they keep calling after I informed them my father passed away and  I cancelled his account. So I purchased the house from my fathers estate and purchased Directv in my name they still keep calling 2,3 sometimes 4 times a day. Called Directv numerous times and asked to speak to supervisors, management, they're about to lose a customer because of their stupid calling system they can't tweak to get a number out of there system when you request it. Better yet I'm going to do what "pissed off" did. What a great idea "pissed off". Why hadn't I thought of that before. He signed into his old Directv account and changed his phone number to the local police departments phone number. Thanks again "pissed off".

This number keeps calling my phone and if it is a Direct TV person, this cell phone is listed as my sons cell (whom has never had Direct TV)

Recently cancelled service  DirectTv.. calls relentless>...

DirecTV has not stopped calling since I dropped their overpriced service over 6 months ago. They didn't bother to keep me as a customer when they still could have (refusing to drop the $200 moving fee) and as a result I will NEVER go back to them, or cable for that matter. Perfectly content streaming my shows off the internet now. I've told them this several times when they call, and they still don't stop calling.

Unwanted call fro this number.  Calling every day.  

From reading most of the posts here I have to believe that it was Directv calling me. I did not answer as it was identified as a Pa. Number. Funny they called me last week and I thought I had finally got through to them. They were asking for my mother who died last February. When I cancelled her service I explained that was why I was camcelling amd still they keep calling. What a pain. I would never go back to them simply because they are very harrasing company.

These Direct TV clowns need to get over themselves. Obviously they're failing at being a profitable company if they're willing to p****off so many people so badly that they have to resort to these kind of tactics.  I predict Direct TV will be out of business within three years. By then they will have made so many people mad that NO ONE will sign back up with them :)  Don't these companies have PR departments anymore? Oh yeah, they got rid of those and replaced it with the Rabid Marketing department .....

On 1/3/14, received a call and just hangs up. No msg.   Really annoying.

phone number 215-383-5679 calling my cell phone that is on the Missouri no-call list.  Did not contact them or ask them to call me.  Had an account with them but cancelled due to poor service.  Now they keep calling me and sending me mail asking me to come back.  I have asked them to stop but they will not.

There IS a thing called a letter.  

Step 1. Answer the phone and ask for their Name and their Identifier.  Say nothing more until you get those two pieces of info. Write them down with time & date.

Step 2. Now ask for Direct TV's Correspondence address. They'll ask why, but say nothing, and repeat the request.

Step 3. When you have this information, thank them for their time & hang up. Say nothing more, just simply hang up.They're gonna keep trying to make a pitch but hang up anyway. and DON'T SAY ANYTHING MORE!!

Step 4. Write a letter to Direct TV at their correspondence address, informing them that your business relationship with them has ended, and any further contact they wish to make with you shall be made to [Your Address].  Any further attempts to contact you by way of telephone shall be considered harassment and will be prosecuted as such.

Step 5. Mail this letter by way of US Postal Service Return Reciept Registered Mail to the Correspondence address given.  

If they call you again, take all the above mentioned stuff to any lawyer, and they'll be your best friend.

These people are relentless. They don't seem to understand that I NEVER answer unknown phone callers. If they had a legit reason to call, they would leave a message. But of course they never do! This makes me wonder about my own security - as a  single woman living alone, who knows what crackpot might be calling. And if it IS Direct TV, I'll make sure they're on my list of companies I would NEVER consider doing business with. I can live without paying for TV every month, and I do, quite successfully. Saves me over $350 a year!

Direct TV will not leave me alone. They call daily, and they leave no message. I am going to block their number, the problem is they keep switching numbers. They need to get a life. I had them for four years and moved and went with another provider back in August. You talk about stalking. These people are ruthless.

I got a call from them.  Listened to the message left, and it was the same gable that I got from another number, which also showed up on here as one from Direct TV

Received a call this morning before 9 A.M, from telephone number 215-383-3473 I dd not recognize the call or answer the phone. Caller I D shows Penn

Calls and just hangs up. No msg.   Really annoying

They called me and left a 3min 59 sec music from something like being on hold!!!  I dont get it!!!!

Direct TV, THEY WANT ME BACK AS A CUSTOMER,  I'VE PAID THROUGH THE NOSE AND COULDN'T GET HIGH SPEED INTERNET, I'VE BEEN A CUSTOMER FOR YEARS, NO MORE, IM HAPPY WITH CABLE

I had their good service for over four years.  Was paying through the nose for month to month service. Then they got my monthly check and acknowledged it but to this day have refused to cash it.  Their billing department is more stupid than our federal government.  Therefore I fired them.  I will NOT ever go back to a long term contract.  Month to month is all I will accept.  I have been advised that TWC cable is in the process of going totally digital and also dumping the digital receivers and going with a ROKU type approach instead. Directv is stuck in an antiquated business model and will shortly be run over by technology change. The day you can pay cash and get service for what you want to see and not the PC government drivel is coming and can't get here soon enough.  On that day Directv will be history.

This number call us daily, sometime twice or three times a day.  I have called directv and ask them to stop calling, but they continue to call.  I have register with the don't call, I hope this stops.  The big problem is that you can't understand him.

Calls and leaves no message every night

This is DirecTV trying to get me to come back. They call once a day and leave a 3 second voice mail. Call center employees are required to make a certain amount of dials per day and if it doesn't go to voice mail or isn't long enough, they don't receive credit for it.

I called back the number and told them to stop calling me. The guy didn't take any of my info but said they would stop after 7-10 days after it "cycled through their system." Cycled through? Whatever...

Stupid .if this call is from Direct TV--!!!Calls  almost everyday- hangs up!! I stopped  using
this  tv  company  in 2010--I  also  receive postal letter from them asking  me  please  come back to direct tv .!!!. HA!!!   HA!!!!!  NO WAY!!!
