Yes, same thing just happened to me on Kijiji - an elaborate scam to get my Paypal account info, with the story that she was sending an instant payment for the item PLUS shipping charges of $1050, which I was then supposed to pay to the freight company who supposedly were picking it up for her. She wouldn't agree to an Interac e-transfer, which made me suspicious. Plus, wouldn't talk in person?? Only SMS or email?? Watch out for this person! Name is supposedly: Mary Shriver - number as indicated above - email given: maryshriver@rocketmail.com

And WHY would you want to come on 800notes to tell everyone your account was credited? What good is getting your account credited? Accounts are ALWAYS credited at first to fool the victims, it's only LATER that Paypal will claw back payments from victims' accounts :((. Just google "paypal scam".

same thing just happened to me. Selling a couch set in Winnipeg and I get a message from this same number wanting my paypal info. Also told me "to hell with you"

Put ad on kijiji to sell washer / dryer set. got text that they would take them at price advertised. They asked for my paypal information. Asked my brother to help me set up paypal account and he decided to check out the phone number, name and email address which ended coming up on this site. Thought i should report this to you. I called them out on it and said i would report them to philidelphia p.d. (because that's near where the text was sent). The response i got was "to hell with you".
