I had this happen and now am being billed 50.00 everymonth through my phone line. What has to be done to get it to stop?

I believe that the call was probably from this number.  I believe that the caller said that the Green Chamber of Commerce was calling to verify my telephone number and business name.  The caller kept me on the line to repeatedly verify this information.  Finally, I got mad and hung up.  One month later, a fraudulent charge from the Green Chamber LLC appeared on my telephone bill.

THEY ARE CALLING ME CONTINOUSLY FROM 2154755478, TELLING ME I'MLISTED WITH THEM.
so I told them to unlist me and they said it was cost me a cancellation fee. I said how are you going to charge me for cancellation when I have no ideal who you are. they have called at least 15 times just today. I won';t verify anything and finally they hung up on me.. This is ridiculous,

They call repeatedly for the last 9 months. Sometimes it is 15 times per day. They do not speak english well so we can't understand where they are calling from. They say they are doing an update of our address. We give them the info and they ask us to hold for a supervisor. We get the supervisor and they go over the same info as the last person. They transfer us to another supervisor so that it can be recorded. The person is talking over the recording and asking us questions and then ask us to say yes if the info is correct just at the time the talking in the back ground quits. We hang up and they have the nerve to call us back. I have asked them not to call and they keep on. We hang up and they are rude to us and ask why we hung up. REALLY?

Constantly calling - first thing they say is that it is not a sales call (right).  They claim to want to verify business listing information for a web directory.

I told them twice to just use the information they already have and to stop calling.  I blocked the first number (5478) but they called me from a different number this time  (5398) which I also just blocked.

I don't think these people understand what NO means - they are scum.

They keep calling our business to "update our information" and we hung up on them. When they called back, the caller yelled our receptionist's name (that's how we answer the phone) "[NAME________] DO NOT HANG UP ON ME"
They don't listen when we have told them continously to STOP calling.

THEY HAVE SEVERAL NUMBERS THE ONE THAT CALLED ME WAS 2154755478 GREEN CHAMBER LLC WHEN ASKED TO SPEAK TO A SUPERVISOR SHE SAID SHE WAS NOT AUTHORIZED TO TRANSFER ME SO I TOLD HER I WAS NOT AUTHORIZED TO TALK TO HER. THEY CALL NUMEROUS TIMES A DAY AND ASKING TO BE REMOVED DOES NO GOOD ANYBODY KNOW HOW TO GET RID OF THESE PEOPLE

In the past 5 days I have received 6 calls from this entity with the caller ID "Pennsylvania".  I have installed: Phone Tray Free on my computer and now zap all calls from this number with a disconnected sound.

The Do Not Call list is a joke!

Have gotten countless calls from this number over the last 2 weeks, Pennsylvania is on the caller id, tonite I finally answered the phone, our number is a private home, not a business.  After a totally incompetant and stupid rep started talking, she was not understandable at all, I asked for a supervisor, he was busy, conveniently.  We are on the do not call list, this house has never been a business, when I redialed the number I got a message saying we had lost our place to take the survey and another business had taken the opportunity, without saying who they are.  They need to be shut down, shot, put out for the crows and live happily ever after.

I asked for a supervisor too, the totally incompetent idiot that was on the phone with me said he was busy, I said really too busy for a customer, yes ma'am too buy, she was so stupid and of low level intelligence with a very very strong accent, she purposely was slurring the name of the company.  I screamed at her for a good 3 minutes of every foul word I could think of and she didn't hang up, she said yes ma'am we will call later, well she got it again.  The idiots keep asking for a business, they are too stupid to realize this is a home number, we are on the do not call list, I am contacting the state attorney general with this.  I wish everyone would do so.

Said our business was listed with them and they wanted to update our information. I told them no and to stop calling but they just keep calling. They say they are greenchamber.org

We are a business and when this call came through, they pretended to update some bogus information about the business such as address and phone number. Then they transfer you to some survey that will record your voice response, maybe to use as a tool to sell you something you didn't buy and they will say you said yes to it because they have your voice recording. I just hang up when the supposed survey starts and they keep calling back. I called them back and their recording says they were conducting an environmental impact on business survey and our opportunity to take the survey has passed and another company has taken it. When they call again or another similar type of call comes, I'll just hang up.

This is a criminal enterprise.  Do not talk to these people.  They talk over important parts of their survery questions so that you can't hear what the recorded message is saying, but it's saying that you are agreeing to being charged $49.95/ month to be added to your phone bill.

the bob cuevas guy you mention is a rude arrogant prick, but he has nothing to do with criminal cases.  his firm handles civil cases for dade county.

I have submitted dozens of complaints about this phone spam/phone fraud. Has anyone here EVER EVER EVER gotten ANY satisfaction from the government? NO.

So in the upcoming election, I am going to ask Congressional candidate why they allow this to go on, in direct violation of existing laws. FUND THE AUTHORITIES, SO THE AUTHORITIES HAVE ABILITY TO STOP THIS HARASSSMENT! These cockroaches won't be stopped until the law stops them.

They said that they are Green Chamber and are updating our Co. info.  I hung up.

Kept calling and trying to verfiy company info. Said they were an online search engine like Google. Kept trying to keep me on the phone by transferring me from one pwerson to amother.

They said they were updating my business info and at the end of the "survey" it gave me a transaction number?

And there's this one on the Florida corp site when searching under agent Martin Heiman; it is a foreign LLC, a reinstatement. Not certain all of this is related or if the Martin Heimans are the same--they perhaps are; but, it is all public info and could be investigated in order to contact one person who actually will stop the numerous daily calls to our businesses. Can we have hope? Would the county attorney care? Does anyone? Look at the BBB complaints; they are similar as those documented in the 800notes by posters.

I got more than 10 times too.  Try to talk nice but they still keep calling- so crazy!! Blocked it!!!

I have caller id so when I see a number I don't recognize, I don't answer it.  This Pennsylvania number will call our number two to three times a day for a week, then it stops for awhile.  It's not worth my time to answer and get frustrated with anyone I don't know.  Answering gives them an in, so don't do it.
