Someone tricked one of our part-time people and tried to dance around my question of "you're refunding my 49.99, right?" First, it was a "no future payments will occur." Then, "have you spoken to your phone company?"

Straight Fraud.

Received a call from this number saying they were not selling anything but were verifying information for onlinegreenpages.  I could tell it was a scam by the way they were trying to get me to say "yes".  Checked it out on-line and saw a bunch of blogs saying it was a scam.  I'll be watching my phone bill to make sure they don't charge me the $49.99 they have charged others for this "free" service.

Was scammed by something like this before for the $49.95 per month.  Said that I agreed to a web site they prepared for me.  They played a 'tape' of me saying yes to questions.  When I called the phone company they said NEVER say yes to anything in the conversation because once recorded, they can put it anywhere.  They called me again yesterday and she was so frustrated that I wouldn't say yes, that she transfered me to a supervisor who also tried to no avail.  It's hard to do, but I had a lot of fun with it.  Supervisor ended up hanging up on me.  :)  I WIN !!!!!

They say they are verifying information on your company, then have to re-confirm it with a supervisor, then send you to an automated system to again re-confirm, but I would not answer the questions (especially the one about giving full name) and the supervisor cut in the middle of the automated system and said "I told you that you need to answer all the questions to finish this" and when I said I didn't feel comfortable with it, he immediately put me to the automated system again so I hung up.  Must be a scam!!!!!!!!

This number called our office to update information. Went through everything, told them we didn't want to be listed, then they said we had already had, had the service and they were just up-dating. When I wouldn't give them my full-name (because the Ann name they had was just a first name and they had said prior that that was how she was listed) they insisted that I say my full name. When they insisted, I hung up. They called back. Someone else in my office answered. They asked for me, and I gave them to my boss. They hung up on her. She called them back and they hung up on her again.

So annoying!! They call every 30 minutes, and they don't leave a message. I asked them to please not call me and they are still calling!

They keep calling asking the same questions stated above.  Informed them that our office is not authorized to make or accept any payments/accounts and they would have to contact our home office.  Transferred me to the supervisor and I kept stating I could not authorize any payments or information and stated that I would not give them my full name.  They tried to transfer me to another supervisor and hung up.  Since then, they have called every 1/2 hour on the hour.  "Steve" the supervisor is going to get an earful next call!!

These clowns have been calling my office and hanging up about twice a week. Now I am receiving 5 plus calls a day on my business line. How do I make them stop?

I just checked to see that my business line is registered with DO NOT CALL, and it is. I have filled a complaint and hopefully it stops. Suggest the rest of us please do the same.

Last count these jerks have called my office 8 times in 3 1/2 hours. This is harrasment.

This number has called my business line 11 times today, beginning at 8:33am.  They either hang up or (one time when I actually did answer) I hear the recorded voice saying "hello, hello, hello", with static.  They called four times yesterday and 3 times the day before that.  They do not leave a message, but I would like to let them know I do not want them calling and tying up my line.

THey call my office line now every 15 minutes. Anyone know a way to stop it???

Ditto. One call came March 21, 2011 then two March 22, 2011 then one on March 23, 2011; I accidentally picked up; checked Caller ID; said nothing then quickly hung up.  The next day (March 24, 2011) twelve (12) calls came (8:24 AM, 9:07 AM, 9:42 AM, 10:45 AM, 11:26 AM, 11:56 AM, 1:40 PM, 2:07 PM, 2:32 PM, 3:57 PM, 4:51 PM, 4:55 PM) then calls started again this morning (8:53 AM, 8:54 AM, 9:12 AM, 9:32 AM, 9:43 AM)...

Annoyed is an understatement!  I called 311 and filed a police report then called my phone provider (no luck). I received the Do Not Call toll free number which may help someone:  888-382-1222.  Registering takes only a minute or two but it'll take 31 days before a telemarketing complaint can be filed.  Meanwhile, I just press the fax button to disconnect the calls.  Hopefully they'll get the message and stop calling.  Thanks for the scam tips!

it's actually www.search-green.net. I tried to check it out, and I didn't found any listing of my business there!!! SCAM!!!

They have called our business  on two of our four lines with 215-475-5480 on the caller ID.  Gabie with no accent called today  and I told her that the Indian guy already called me and I told him not to call us back.  I asked to speak to a manager and  she kept insisting that she could take our number off their list.  I explained that the Idian guy said that already and look, she is still calling us.  No later than five minutes after her call the Indian guy calls my other line.

I let him have it with my foul language and to not call us again. I did ask him for his name and he said it was David, but I doubt that.  I told him that Gabie just called me and he goes, "ohh Gabie." I was reading this website by this time and told him that I'm going to report them and that they are full of sh*t.  He kept wanting to tell me that his manger would call me back since he was busy at the moemnt, because of course I wanted to see if they even had a manager.  After some more foul language of mine I hung up on him.


Any how I looked up how to block a call on Comcast phone lines and you use *60, for any of you who might need this.  So hopefully they don't call again with my block feature on.

I got the same phone call as NTB.  A TOTAL Scam, wanting to bill my phone bill for $49.95.  They said their website was Search.Green.Net or www.search.green.net, (with a period/ dot, not a hyphen), from Florida, and gave a phone number for me to call 877-640-5958.  They said they were a FREE business listing service.  I hung up when the recording said I was "authorizing a charge".  I called AT&T and wondered how someone could just bill my phone?  No satisfactory answer as yet...  I want to prohibit any 3rd Party billing to my number... is there a means to do that?

If they use a fake caller ID call intercept service from Verizon will block the call

Ther appears to be nothing we can do. Just keep them on th eline for as long as possible asking them annoying questions or get them to keep repeating things over and over like you don't understand. Ask them where they are calling from, ask about the weather, why is it so loud there, what their accent is, etc. It can be fun.

Stop these spammers. Four calls in five minutes.

yeah yeah same thing as everybody else is getting.  I got 10 calls a day from this number..finally as I'm getting briefed by an Indian woman on what her company is about, I said, "wow, has anyone ever told you you have a sexy voice?"  "You sound like you're from India."  "I've always wanted to be with an Indian woman, I hear they do anything."  "So hey, do you have a boyfriend?" she said no. LMAO!!  then I said, "How about I call you later?  Maybe have a little more fun tonight after I get off work.  Maybe even send each other some pics and see where it leads?"  LMFAO!  Unfortunately, the calls still keep coming, but its so fun.  I had the whole office laughing so hard.

3/24/11  12 calls starting @9:14AM til 5:45PM  ..No one on line when I answered ...I'm on AT&T ( Who I might add ,has an ad for U-Verse on the bottom of this page!!) so I entered 215-475-5477 in "call Blocking"  ... Guess what ?? Today (3/25) they started again with 215- 475- 5480...I called AT&T Customer service ,only to be told  " unfortunately , theres nothing they can do..."  !!!!!
And to top it all, While I'm on to AT&T tyying to get help...,I get a call waiting prompt...and guess what again ??/ It's 215 475 -5480 calling !!!!!!

All you can basically do with AT&T is enter the numbers in "Call Blocking " but theres a 6 number maximum...Great!!!!

This is a scam being perpetrated by a company called Green Certification there located in Miami Florida....the real number is 877-640-5958. They are using call centers around the Globe to scam you. The scam goes like this....1) We are calling to give you a free business listing. 2) They verify your company and info in the typical (you cant understand them mode) then ask to switch you to a supervisor for verification of your free years listing. The supposed manager gets on the line and instructs you to listen to a recorded message with a very clear english speaking recording....the manager tells you to answer yes/no to all questions after each question answered the # needs to be hit to move forward. The manager instructs you they will do the # sign for you.. while they sit on the line to listen to the recording and your answers. After several questions the caveat question comes from the recording which asks CAN WE BILL YOUR PHONE LINE!! when this question is asked the supposed manager tries to talk over this part of the recording and tells you the question is are you over 18 and authorized to make decisions for your company!  LIE LIE LIE they are seeking authorization to bill your phone! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! They have a web site www.search-green.net thats who is perpetrating the scam!!!!!

If you are still on an AT&T land line, like I am, you can block the number from getting through. Google for the instructions.

12 calls today from this number.  They are violating the do not call list

15 missed calls from this number and 13 messages with no info today. 9 from them yesterday.

WARNING! India call center using Pennsylvania number. Not legit! Phishing scam!

215-475-5477 is calling my residence 4-6 times per day for the past week. No apparent recourse. Pick up - no one is on the line. Call back - there is an automate message that will not take a response.

I registered this number as a complaint with the "Do Not Call List."  the person was some "Green Registration?" place.  Hung up after I called him out on the fact the phone call did not sound like it originated within the boarders of the United States.
