Scam. Received 9:09 am on 4/9/12 from cs@fcb.com (First California Bank)

SCAM!!!  Text message received to Call. No affiliation ever. Outgoing msg has no identifying msg. Wants you to update your phone number or load a card with money.

Got text with the same reply number,,  SCAM<<  DONT REPLY if you reply They know they have a good number.

Just go a txt from the same number. It is a scam.

Got the phone call and text message mentioned above. Definitely a scam. There is no 215 area code listed on their website.

Just got same text as first post. Definately a scam.

I got a msg today from 215-488-7994 and knew it was a scam.  I reported this phone number to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).  I suggest we all do that. Thanks

4-4-2012 Rockwood Bank 215-488-7994 on both my cell phone and my sons. If we dont know the number, we dont call back. We check here first!

I just called the # from a protected phone line - it was an automated message that said my Debit Card had been restricted due to technical difficulities.  They wanted me to enter my card # to "reactivate" it.

I just got a text from the same # stating "Rockwood Bank" Call
Definitely scam bait.

I moved from Gainesville, Florida, to another state. However, I have that area code still for my phone. Received a text message today (4/5/2012 2:25pm) from "info@1stcu.com" with the following message:
"1st CU of Gainesville. Call: 12154887994"

I never had an account with that credit union, so I am sure that this is simply phishing.

I have had this one.   Then it progressed to txt messages, telling me to call First Savings, coming from different addresses.   I reported to First Savings On line and Verizon Wireless.    Both came back verifying the fraud, both initiating an investigation after I forwarded the text messages to them

Rec'd 2 calls and text.  Both said it was First Savings.  Sounds very much like a scam.  Don't have a First Savings.  And there aren't any in the area!

I received the same text too. Is there some type of list that we need to be on to not get spam texts?

I recieved the same texts...one each saying to call the 215-488 number, and the 215510@text.  I don't have an account with first savings either.....SCAM

My daughter and I just received the same text (she actually received it twice). "VISA DEBIT CARD ISSUE. Call 215-488-7994". I was suspicious and called verizon they said they did NOT send it and they have no issue with my card. Do Not respond it's a scam! The text received was from 215510@vtext.com.

215-488.7994 received a text that said I had a debit card issue please call this number.

Both my wife and I received the same phone call and text message from this company on our Cell Phones. I do not have a CC from First Savings and I affraid that this is a scam.

I got the same text message. The question is where are they getting my cell number from?

I Recieved a text from2159999@vtext.com saying first savings call 215-488-7994. Looked it up it's a scam

call from First savings saying debit card was deactivated. Called First Savings they said it is a scam. Don't give any info.

Don't enter your deit card #.  Could be a scam
