they called me at 7:30 am twice in a row

I just got called by the same number (215)-526-2600, "Oxford Law Firm" wanting to speak to my father, claiming they were not a collection agency and they were not trying to sell anything. He said he would break federal law if he told me what he was calling about. Obviously they aren't a law firm, especially since my father lives all the way out in Utah. I want to know how they have access to the cell-phone numbers of the relatives of people they harass.

Who are these people and what do they want.  They call every day, several times a day.  The phone rings once or twice and then it stops and this number is on my caller ID.  No message and I'm definitely not calling it back.  Too many scams being run out there

Received a call from 215-526-6200 claiming they were from Oxford Law Office and telling me I'm on a recorded line. Asked about if I knew someone and I told them that I knew many people by that name and that a middle initial would be helpful since so many Koreans are named Sung Park. Then the guy says it is in relation to some 76 yr old Sung Park which I have no idea anyone that old with the name and he says ok. I remember getting a similar call a while back from a lady from a different number asking about if I knew a Sung Park that was hospitalized in her seventies. Now that I know these calls are frauds I will be sure not to answer when they call.

Got a call from Oxford law, LLC today saying I owe a debt. I do not owe a debt to anyone. This could be about something many years back, but I am sure there is no debt owed and unpaid in the last 10 years. Want these calls to stop! Who do I have to contact? The phone number is #215-526-2600.

These guys r morons had a bankruptcy told them truck was part of it haven't seen truck for 2 years and they were telling me their people had seen me driving it around lol absolute liars and scammers ...... Can't fix stupid :)

I get calls from Oxford Law quite frequently.I do owe a debt but wanted them to send me a collection notice from the company stating how much i owe and what creditor they represent but they refuse to do so.They want me to just send the amount in a cashiers check to some PO box in Pittsburgh.I refuse to do so and they keep harassing me saying that i,m stalling.What legit company won't send a statement?

Also be ware of another scam where people say they are calling from Microsoft and that your computer is being hacked.  They are very clever.  And with a very thick Indian accent.

They have been trying to reach someone who use to live in my home and no longer does.  

These freaks have gone so far as to call my neighbors looking for him.  From what I read they are a collection agency that try to collect on debts from the 80's.  

It is best to have fun with them by putting them on hold, or asking them to wait for you to check on something.  

I don't think they are lawyers even though it is clear they are scum sucking piglets as some lawyers are.

I received a letter from Oxford Law, LLC (215 5262600 stating that I owed $7,340.58  When I spoke to the Federal Trade commission he told me that if you see them asking you to pay by western union it is a scam. I have called them repeatedly for two days driving THEM crazy.  :) I know I never opened a credit card with the person they say I co signed for. I also told them that I was filing a police report. The one thing they continue to state is that they re recording the calls.  I said good!

These people called and when I couldn't be reached they called my father and told him that he was a consigned on a credit card I had almost 10 years ago. They told him he had to pay! My dad hung up on them because he suspected they were a scam. I later called them back and they said that I owed them $1500 on an account that I'm sure I payed off in 2010. I asked them why they called my father and told him he was a cosigner for this account. The man said he never said that my dad consigned. At that point I didn't know what to think so told him i was reporting him to the better business bureau and never to call me it my father again and  I hung up.

I had to go through the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau to get this collection agency to stop harassing me.  I was informed that I owed a debt that I know I had paid off with the original creditor and through conversations was threatened with legal action. Although I do not agree with the letter that they sent concerning their attempt to contact me, I am very happy that they closed their file and will not attempt to collect a debt.  My advice to everyone complaining that this company is harassing you for debts that you do not believe are legitimate is to submit your claim to the CFPB. call  received 9/9  repeat of all above phone calls.  they were looking for another member of my family and  could not divulge any info re: the case.  Had offices world wide but could not tell me where they were located in SC nor a phone number for that office. Must think we're born yesterday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oxford Law LLC is an aggressive and combative company that's only job is to collect debt either "charged off" a long time ago or incorrectly sold off to them for pennies on the dollar. As the husband, I was not allowed to speak to "Rachel" unless my wife (who's name they were calling) authorizes my speaking with them. I asked if this was a debt collection call and "Rachel" said "No". Eventually , after speaking with my wife for permission to speak with me, "Rachel" said "this call is being recorded and this is an attempt to collect a debt."
I disputed this debt and "Rachel" said  "we will collect this debt."
After hanging up, I wrote them a letter disputing the debt and advising Oxford to "Cease and Desist" all further communication. I sent this certified, return receipt. We'll see what happens at this point.
By the way, Oxford Law LLC is NOT a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Write a letter to Oxford Law, LLC  saying you dispute the validity of this debt. Also, tell them to "Cease and Desist " in further communication. , Send it certified, return receipt. If they continue to contact you after you receive the return receipt card,   you have a valid claim for abuse and harassment.

I received "3" calls today (8/28/13) from Oxford Law LLC. I asked them what the call was in reference to and also added "are you a debt collector?" The answer I received was "No" we're not a debt collector.
When in fact they were. I was told my call was being taped and that I owed a creditor, which I disputed.
The woman, "Rachel"  (who was not an attorney) told me "we will collect this debt."
Today, 8/28/13, I sent Oxford Law LLC a certified, return receipt letter advising Oxford Law that I dispute the validity of this debt and want them to "Cease and Desist" all further communication regarding this matter.

this number isn't leaving a message and it need to stop calling my phone... I have an unlisted number and I want it kept that way..

This number keeps calling and when it is answer they hang up.. Who are they and why are they calling me

The most incredible thing is that they give you an option to press '1' if it is not you, but that option does not work!!!!! And it's a sneaky message that not only doesn't allow you to press '1' but also tries to get you then to press '2' intimating that you can remove yourself.  Bloody b*****ds. Thanks God for the delete key.

I got a call from this number at my home in Florida.  Don't know who these morons are but they sure as hell better leave me and my family alone,

The same happened to me. Called my elderly grandparents and then my mother. Now my husband has recieved a letter from Oxford Law, LLC with the same number they called me from. These people need a kick in the face

I been harraced by this company for the past two years. I have called 20 times asking to be removed from that list. HELP

continuos and harrassing calls from this company stating they are a collection agency attempting to collect a  debt  which I have no knowledge of. This number has also called one of my siblings that live in another State, yhey left a message on the answering machine saying I owe them money and wanted to know my whereabouts.  On one of the calls I spoke to 3 different people, trying to find out what they were talking about , one of them I believe his name was Brian, was threatning while he was reciting my social security number and my date of birth. I was just trying to find out what was owed, what was purchased with the money they alledge I owe.

these a-holes keep calling for someone and will not say what or why they are calling.  they call at all hours of the day or nite.  when i got persistent and asked who was calling they started yelling at me and acting belligerent towards me and kept asking me who i was.  i want to go there and meet them face to face.  they are working according to collection laws.  this is harrasement.

Another Oxford LLC " planted fake".

It's simple, you are likely a "planted fake" from Oxford Law LLC.

They call my number looking for a hispanic woman, who I was unfortunately the receiver of her former phone number when I changed my phone number, I never knew her and I can easily prove it, yet they have continued to harrass me telephonically, I'm done trying to be polite, I've tried to straighten them out to no avail for months, now it's call block time.

I'm still going to confirm they are licensed in my State and file a complaint with the US Attorney's office locally.
