Informed them that as of July 1st this year cold calls are against the law here in Iowa , and since I did not give my permission this was a cold call plus I am on the do call list if they call again I will have them taking to my lawyer tied of theses calls

I was naive enough to think once we got rid of our land line, BS calls like this one would cease. Not so much. My rule is, if I don't recognize the number, I ignore it.

I got a call from this number also. A few seconds of heavy breathing! I answered, but no response. I just hung up. Imagine that.

Wanted me to change from PECO to Great American Power. Told him I don't use that much electricity so I wouldn't benefit from the changed...I thanked him for calling and hung up before he could say anything else.

Is it me or does it seem like that "do not call list" is a bunch of bull!! I am on that list yet I get calls from all over the country selling me all kinds of stuff. The majority of the things trying to be sold are home security units. It is becoming a pain in the butt to have a land line. I don't get bother like this with my pre-paid cell phone!

Got the same call from this number. Recommend reporting on the FCCs do not call website and if enough people complain maybe they will start checking w/ the list before they call.

I received a call from this number at 8:40 AM this morning. Caller ID "Private Name". Left no message. I called back and was placed on hold "for the next available agent". The person answered my call announced that the company was Great American Power providing electric service in the PECO area. I informed him that I was on the national DO NOT CALL list and requested him to remove my number from their calling list. I adviced him to check with the national DO NOT CALL list before calling people, and he said he would do that.
