I just got the same text. Why do people try to screw over unemployed people.

Scam. text was received as follows:  Hello matthew.... I'm Mr Timothy Darwin  I'm the Director of wistron Inc. your resume posted  has been received and Forwarded to the head dept of the company..Let me know once you get this

This is the same text I received. They have so many opportunities. We were to set up an Interview over Yahoo Messenger (which I do not have). We text back and forth a bit (Timothy Darwin Director of Wistron). I started researching before I actually agreed to download Yahoo Messenger and learned quite a bit. I'm 100% confident this is a SCAM! I text him back asking some specific questions, he immediately shot me two text (very long and with misspelled words) - the reply was lighting fast (hmmm). I asked him what positions were available and how he got my phone number and resume. Didn't reply. I asked him if there was an up front investment on my part (as I previously read over the internet there would be ) and he immediately replied No, but IM me on Yahoo. I text him back and said no that I wouldn't as this doesn't appear to be on the up & up - NO REPLY FROM HIM after that.

I recived a text from this number with a name of Timothy Darwin he wanted a video chat with me and wanted me to open a yahoo account it is a scam

Texting me about my resume and a job opertuinity. The company going by the name of westren ink. The number that text message me is 215-664-8355. The person is going by the name of Mr. Timothy Darwin.

I too got a text from a Timothy Darwin. I didn't have a yahoo acct but I set it up to see what this was really about. He gave me the same lines as everyone else. His yahoo had a picture of an older gentleman once he asked for my personal info I told him to remove me from his calling list and if I get harassed I will report him to the FTC and I did.

tdarwin95 sent a text to discuss an employment position and an online interview.

I called him out on this being a scam; which he then told me he was the FL rep for Wistron.

I didn't know at the time how much of a scam he had been running.

How does he get our phone numbers?  He told me got my information from a site that does veteran employment.

Same thing happened to me. Thanks for your posts.  I deleted the message.

Please let it be know that this a complete scam. Just Google it as so did others that received the same email..  Its the newest scam to collect your information and steal your identity or money laundering.   Please Research before you give any information.

I also received a random text saying "Hello (MY FIRST NAME MIDDLE INITIAL LAST NAME)". The text came from 215-664-8355.  It was the same info as listed below from email.  It said he was Mr Timothy Darwin from Wistron Inc which I GOOGLED and is a true company based outside the US supposely.  They offered me an online interview as the below.

I got the same thing today..I dont have a text plan so it was costing me money..called the number and it said the person wasnt there..I got the speel that they got my resume off somewhere..spelled some words wrong so i put it on the spam text list on my cell..wth is going on?

I pretty much got the same thing. The text message was from a "Mr. Timothy Darwin".  I replied (text) that his approach appeared as spam and said nothing more. He replied that he needed my email address. I replied, "Fail! If you actuay had my resume as you claim, my email address was included."  No replies after that.

Just received a call from this unknown number. Only used my last name...

Initial Text: "Hello"
I didn't respond. 2 days later:

"ello How are you doing today ?"
"Hello"

I'm not responding. What the heck!?

Received text from 215-664-8355 that my resume was accepted from Wistron Corporation. Never heard of this company. Then they sent a list of numerous jobs asking what I was interested in. I sent message back that I am not familiar with this company or phone number and to please provide more information so I will know they are legitimate company. Haven't heard anything from them! Obviously got information from Indeed.com as that is the only job site I am registered on. Think I will pull my resume off that site.

I had the same text and I responded. I just got done chatting with someone online and they said they got my resume off of the state's job site. Did an 'interview' and did not give any important info and was told I have a job.

Random text saying "Hello (MY FIRST NAME MIDDLE INITIAL LAST NAME)". I Did not bother to reply. I have no people in the 215.

I received a text with phone # also, I also have my resume posted on monster and career builder. I did not respond to it.

I received a text from this number ...my first and last name only. I figure its a scam for me to reply, so they can get accessed to my phone information.
I am a member of indeed.com and i also have my resume posted on monster and career builder. Wonder if this is the problem. I also recently signed up to get text coupons from hometown buffet. Im just throwing this out there in case anyone else did the same thing. Dont reply to that number people... its a scam for sure.

This number texted hello how are you?  I reported to the authorities!

Received a text with my first and last name.  Called back....no answer.  Erased the number immediately.
