First Financial Bank loss prevention.  AKA: Collector

it's first financial collections

I dont owe or know these people how do you get their number blocked this is just a plain crime

I get calls from this number several times a day.  This has been happening for about a month.  They always call during the week day when we are at work and they never leave a message.  I don't know who they are or what they want (and I don't really care!).

Definitely first financial bank

Called, Asked I was me, comfirmed if I was me.  Then asked to key in my last 4 digits of my social security number.  At which point I hung up on them.  Next time I'll try like 1234 or something to see if I get any farther and then update this site.  And I do have an account with First Finnaical Bank.

It could be a scam, or a collection call.  My daughter screwed up her Visa payment so we've been getting calls from them.  Not the straightest company to deal with but not necessarily a scam.

When I called this number back I also got First Financial Bank.
I reported to them that they keep calling here and hanging up when I answer.  They claim this is an automated system making the calls.

I have reported these harassing calls for someone I do not know to the DO NOT CALL registry.

I actually called thenumber back and got an answer. They said they were First Financial Bank USA. When they asked for my information I hung up. When I called the number I knew for sure was First Financial Bank, she said sometimes the supervisors call just to let you know that you need to make a payment, or you're overdrawn, or you're due date is today. It'll show their name and that's why it seems shady. But it's really them, and it's okay.

They left a VM for my wife to call them back about our account with First Finanial. We don't have an account...but called back...they couldn't find us in their database...They asked for my wives Social Security Number. I wouldn't give it to him and he got angry and said for me to "PUT HER ON THE PHONE!"  I said you told him not talk in that way...but her persisted and I hung up.  We know our Chief of police and has their info.

Why would a legitimate bank make repeated calls to people who are not customers? Sounds funny to me. Have received many calls with J brown calleR ID. THE GOVERNMENT HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY TO PROTECT CONSUMERS FROM THIS TYPE OF THING, IF YOU ARE FED UP , THROW THE REPUBLICAN CROOKS OUT OF OFFICE WHO ARE ALLOWING THIS TO GO ON.

Just received a call from this number on Aug. 20th and Aug 22nd. Neither calls were answered, but it's good to know that it's not anything "real." Ever since we moved here, we've received MANY calls for the people who previously had our phone number and most of them had to do with delinquent bills. Unfortunately we've chosen to keep the number cause it's too much of a hassle to change it.

It's just first financial bank. I believe they use different area codes to get someone to answer the phone. They never leave a message. What I do know is that it is not a collection agency working on behalf of First Financial. It's just First Financial Bank being very aggressive in their collections. After a while, the number and zip code will change; but it will be them. We don't even have an account with them but can't get our number removed from their system. If you call them on their 800 number, you will just end up verifying that they are reaching someone and you will continue to stay in their system.

Let's put a stop to this, these calls are disturbing my mother.

I have been getting calls from this number for the past 4-5 days.  twice a day, once in the morning then again in the afternoon.  I have been on vacation, so have no answered the call.   They called today and I was at my desk and when I picked it up there was a recording that said, please hold for and important message, so I hung on to see what this was about.  I was disconnected.  I called the number back and it rang.  So, I let it ring and ring, for about 10 minutes, I just put it on speaker to see what happens.  It was never answered.

well I just spoke with someone at 1st financial bank. apparently they don't leave messages and can't recieve calls. why? I don't know exactly, the representative wasn't totally clear with me-just that whoever calls, their number is their direct line and the (215) is the area code for whom first financial sends acct info so they 'courtesy call' someone to talk with them about their acct. In the end it was a legit call. I'm glad they did b/c I needed to take care of something in my acct. But, it was very frustrating trying to figure out who was calling and why I couldn't get ahold of the person calling.

In the past week I've gotten two phone calls from this number and since they never left a message I have had no idea who it was or what was going on.

Why were they calling? I missed all the calls...don't know who it is so I googled their phone number and came up with this website.
Your comments are helpful so far. I do actually have an account with this bank...but not to leave a msg?? So my plan is to call them at their 800 number and figure out what is going on (if they know and if they disclose anything to me).

Asks for a person who no longer lives at this number.  Told more than five times to stop calling. Never asks for last name only first name

getting calls from this number, they are even calling my cell phone. They leave no messages. Anyone have any ideas??

Just got a call from this number asking for a Charles.  I said you had the
wrong number. The woman could not speak English very well.  I thought
maybe it was a collection agency looking for someone.  Maybe I am wrong.

I got a phone call from the same number this morning. If you guys did a lookup on them and found that they were the bank you claim, I have some news; about a week ago, I got another mysterious call from the SAME bank, except they were calling from a number in Florida. There is something fishy going on, so just ignore the numbers and let them leave voicemails. This is not your bank calling you about a problem with your bank account or anything. When they called me from the Florida number, they left a voicemail. They asked for "Jared"...but my name is "Eric"...so they said "Jared, call me back at 1-800..."....obviously a scam.

Woke up this morning and they called me and wheni answered they hung up.
sounds fishy to me.
What would someone in a few states away have to do with a bank like this?
i think these people are up to something fishey.
There was someone on the other end as i could hear them breathe. The name on the I.D> came up J.Brown.
Someone please lok into these people.
