got 5 calls today at home from 215-856-4413 pretending to be a debt collector for a pay day loan company I called back and spoke with Kevin I told him that I don't owe anyone to anyone.  he said the company sent info to my email which is BS so then I asked him the name of the payday loan company and the amount that I owed and then I asked him why didn't the company contact me directly if I owed them money Then I remembered that a online company where I took a payday loan ages ago their system had been hacked he told me to pay $525 if not I would owe $4k I told him to sue me and hung up

I got a call from a heavy Indian accent speaking person saying his name Was Kevin Williams. He would not give me any information about why he was calling or where he was calling from unless I gave him my debit or credit card number so I told him that if this is a legit legal action to send me a court notice and I will appear in court or have the Sheriff Dept come to lock me up. That He is to stop calling my home and work immediately and that I will be calling the legal dept for both my state and federal government to report him.

Just got a call at my company from a Kevin James left me a message saying that if i do not pay the loan they weer going to press charges. He could not give me the name of the company or anything. SCAM.

I got the exact same phone call today, a man with a very thick accent i could barely understand called and said that his name was "kevin williams". This was an automatic red flag, legitimate companies don't give out bogus names. He said I had taken out a payday loan in may of 2011 and never paid it back. They said they were going to press charges on me and contact my boss at work and let him know. Immediate red flag, debt collectors cannot call your boss! I told him then i did not know what he was talking about and who I had taken the loan with. He said the payday loan companie changes their name every 15 days but that if I would pay him the 300 dollars that I would receive a 16 page document that would have all the information. I told him to call me back with some real information and a real name and I would then take him seriously. I know I did not have a loan with anyone that was overdue. I am especially not going to send someone who is not even in the united states $300 dollars for no reason. These people were calling my job! this is nuts!

Co-Worker is having the same thing she reported it to the atorney general and they said they're aware of the scam, called the indian scam. dont worry about it its nothing but them trying to scam you

I received a call from this number claiming to be a debt collector for a pay day loan company.  He told me to send his company $467.00 or they would file legal action against me, and send my case to court.  I told him to go ahead and send it to any court he wanted to, but I didn't owe anyone any money.  "Kevin" (yeah right, nobody in East India names their kid Kevin) had my SS#, email address, home address etc.  I called the pay day loan company I've been working with and filed a fruad charge.  This is not a real debt collection company and is a scam!!  They will threaten you with legal action if you don't send them money, don't fall for it.  People like this should be locked up!!
